I doubt he'll see mine either. Too many other people in the cast, crew, production, distribution etc. to spread one woman's money around too much. But I'd rather support something with vastly good values than slap at some microscopic organism within it.

My 2 cents...

Most movie goers don't have a CLUE what party the actors in the film belong to or how they lean politically. What they are far more likely to pick up on is the message of the movie itself. Therefore, it makes a lot more sense to boycott movies with morals / politics we disagree with than it does to dismiss GOOD movies with GOOD messages because of one bad apple, in the political sense. Especially when there are conservatives in the cast as well.

Okay, you ignorred addressing the previous reasons I stated as being perhaps a valuable reason to watch this film.

What about the fact that I have been able to sway the opinions of several of the students in my classes so that they begin to think about political ramifications. Many of my students have been raised in homes where political commentary is non-existant. By showing TTT while they worked on assignements I have found that a dialogue is begun and as a result several students have been influenced into taking a patriotic stance FOR this war in Iraq. One young man has enlisted in the Navy.

And while discussing the issues within the films in the classroom, I have been the one to bring up the actor's dissent to our country's war. In doing so I have been able to make the students see that these actors are merely little players in the drama, not intellectuals.

Doesn't anything like that matter to you?
