We were watching "3-2-1 Penguins!", the slightly less evangelical kids cartoon from Big Idea, the faithful cartoon people who do VeggieTales, and the two kids go up into Grandma's attic to poke around. And there, in the background, without much mention, was "The Lamp." Thought I would laugh my head off!

I sent this out to my friends but edited in your change for the right-wing Republican movie. 'It's a Wonderful Life' is a great movie, but the villian is a capitalistic pig. Wasn't the best choice.

A Democrat and a Republican are walking down the street at Christmas time, and encounter a bum. (Today they are called "homeless people.")
"You poor man!" cries the Republican. "Here is my card! Come around to my business tomorrow and I will give you a job so that you may have a Merry Christmas!" And to top it off, the Republican reaches in his wallet, and pulls out a crisp $10.00 bill and gives it to the bum so that he can buy lunch.
"That was a wonderful example of human kindness," says the Democrat, "and I want to do it too!"
The two men proceed down the street, and before long encounter another bum with his hand out. The Democrat winks to the Republican.
"You poor man!" the Democrat cries, and reaches into the Republican's wallet and gives the bum $10.00.

Republicans see nothing wrong with letting their children play "Cowboys and Indians". Democrats don't either, as long as the Indians get to win. But Democrats call it Evil Imperalists and Native Americans.

Democrats shop at WalMart because it's an Arkansas-thing--Hillary sat on their board (as well as Dillard's). Republicans shop at Target and K-Mart, and admit it with pride, because the style is alot better and the prices are competitive. Also, WalMart is systematically taking over the markets of the Republican small businessmen, e.g., hardware stores, grocery stores, etc. Why feed the competition?
