This guy must be left of left, particularly when so many hippies read LOTR back in the 1960s.

A little humor. The left joins Sauron in assault on Middle Earth. We've got news for them--they lose!

"A customer from the real world": Real world where racism is the norm, good guys aren't supposed to win, the greatest country in the world is not supposed to enjoy the fruits of it's labors, but feel guilty about how poor zimbabwe is. A real world where everything good sucks, and misery should reign supreme.
I hate leftists some days.

I mean really... Is this guy so lacking in human contact that he needs to post this crap on Amazon.com?
This guy is either a hermit with no one to talk to or he's a conservative trying (successfully) to make the looney left look even loonier...
To: Faraday
Reality check.
So what if some lame-brain character in a movie with a budget as large as the GNP of Zimbabwe
According to the CIA World Factbook, the GDP of Zim is about $27 billion.
Just a little larger than LOTR's budget.

Good grief.
The reviewer either didn't see the movie or is a masochist.

The reviewer probably thought "Eyes Wide Shut" was a great, ground-breaking movie, and thinks everything done by Michael Moore is brilliant.

Well: it's no more fictional than "I, Rigoberta."
Somehow I doubt this fellow will waste the same moral energy on that entry.

I feel a yawn coming on....

Use of the word
"..... reactionary..... is VERY telling.
Why doesn't he just immigrate to some 'People's Paradise' like North Korea where a great Director is also the supreme leader and let the rest of us vote with our wallets.
