Sigh. I used to love those guys when I was in HS. Kids today don't know what they missed from '77-'85. Great guitar band; and look at that hair!

I think she got sick and tired of babysitting him -- watching his drug and alcohol use, and alleged womanizing.

He was a great guitar player before you were born.
-------------------------
Was he as good as Byrd, Segovia, Breem, Burrel, Atkins, or Williams? Could he teach like Sopocles Poppas? In the early '60s at the old Showboat in Washington, D. C. Byrd ysed to spend an evening going through the entire history of the Guitar and play selections from each period and style. He excelled in the classics, jazz, and even the Brazilian style. Could this guy do that?

VAN HAGAR BACK AGAIN!!To quote Derrick Coleman: Whoop-dee-damn-do!
When they bring back David Lee Roth (David Weave Roth), *then* I'll care...

He was a great guitar player before you were born. LOL! Gee, Robert, I didn't know you were such a young pup!

The kid doesn't know it, but I was a helmsman on The Arc.

Oh. Well, womanizing is a definite deal-breaker.
To: hellinahandcart
Always so -- but how does a bum like that justify cheating on *her*?! She's gorgeous, sweet and stuck by him through all his problems, from alcohol/drugs to cancer...

It is impressive however that he could "rail the axe" and also at the same time maintain a business attitude to bring the group to finacial euphoria because of his talents.
