And everyone else probably won't show because they're labouring at stuffing their faces with you-know-what (I'M REFERRING TO TURKEY, not that cheap physical stuff you're thinking of, Miss Xs!), the lucky dogs!

Happy Thanksgiving! Our plans got changed at the last minute, and we made reservations at a favorite restaurant for Thanksgiving dinner-I will smoke my turkey Saturday, instead.

Tomorrow, we are going to a friend's ranch with the kids for a get-together and to cut down the dead cedar tree that will become the mantel for our living room fireplace.

Robert, his brother and sister-in-law, who are our near neighbors, joined us for dinner last evening and we had a great time-we shut the restaurant down. Robert's brother took some pictures, but I don't know how soon they will be available. We might see them on our way home from dinner, and if so, I will ask.
