Well.
I as a former soldier will admit to an amount of 'blood fire' there.
I see assaults on the constitution and grit my teeth.
There are others still in uniform that think the same way, but they have alot more to lose by saying so.
So it becomes, and boils down to, a watchful waiting.
Eventually they need to make a physical attempt to confiscate our guns.
No matter how it comes down, they will have to make that step someday.
Especially if the socialists get hold of most of government and people stay lax.
Makes me fear for our country.

We can't protect our borders to the south without barbed wire and gun towers along the whole length. I think I much prefer this method.I prefer this method too. As long as we hire Americans to man staff the gun towers...

I didn't realize it was a temporary gig.

Maybe you should look for a temporary gig in Arkansas when that one's up. I have a spare room.

*chuckle*
Spoke to him on a different thread, and he wasn't quite so disagreeable there.
Someone asked if he'd been secretly switched.

Redford doesn't bother you???? It is okay for a 4 man Marine sniper group to shoot and kill a High Shcool kid out herding his family's goats? Suppose Ruby Ridge didn't bother you either? US Marshals killing a kid and an FBI sniper killing a mother holding her child in her home...But they were all just doing their jobs weren't they....Gad, the mind set among some here.....
.....Westy...

With all that has been conceded to Vincente Fox, I was stunned that he sided with Germany and France in the UN!! I am also stunned that some large American companies can have their headquarters building on American soil and their factory in Mexico or their workers are outsourced to India or some such place. That kind of restructuring is harmful to Americans. I don't get it!

West ... Dark said ... "But, people up my way aren't concerned with that, it's "Safely" down on the other side of the country"
Folks up this way don't pay much attention to the things you mention
I'm not saying it's right .. it's just a fact
Just like the border problems ... a lot of folks up here don't see what's going on down in the south and have no idea of what it's like

Employers who extend job offers must first make every reasonable effort to find an American worker for the job at hand. We advertised for a journeyman plumber at $9.50 per hour, and we couldn't find any Americans who could do the work. We looked, we really, really looked.
We were forced to hire Achmed bin-Ibriham to do the plumbing for the children's hospital.
Don't worry though, he's leaving in three years, unless he renews, or the government offers another amnesty guest worker program...

It bothers me, alot.
The locals in my area just aren't concerned with what happens 'across teh country' for some reason.
I don't know WHY this is, but it is.
Even though NY state lost about 3000 lives on 9/11, they seem to be wrapping themselves into a zone of denial, saying that what happens elsewhere in the country doesn't effect them.
I don't understand the thinking myself.
I have heard the incidents you mention and it bothers the hell outta me.
It bothers me even more when I see some of the attitudes about it exhibited by my neighbors.

Exactly.
And NY doesn't see a problem even though one came to them.
Seems this state won't recognise a problem even if it hits them in the nose and mugs them.

At $9.50 an hour I believe somebody should have been kicked off welfare for to take that job. That is not minimum wage. I suppose it matters where the job was. Certain parts of California or New York City are so expensive, it wouldn't pay for any apartment correct?
