You know what Val I have the exact same problem with my hair. It gets to a certain length and then the ends split and I end up trimming it. BUT I just got a tidbit from my older sister. She has been using 8000 mgm of MSM now for about two years. You should see the mop of hair she suddenly has. It has caused her hair to thicken AND grow. Needless to say, I have been gulping down MSM for about 6 months now. It's also good for joints, muscles etc. She used the powder which is bitter as bile. I can't stand the powder even tho it's cheaper that way. I use the BIG capsules and choke them down. LOL But I'm determined to get my hair long like it used to be.

If you shop around you may be able to find a little better price than that. I look for the sales and then load up. My last one was a bottle of Holista brand 1000mgm caps, 240 of them for $14.99. Yesterday, My sister phoned me at work and said that the Overwaitea store where she is a floral designer, (it's also a grocery store, pharmacy etc.) had a bargain bin they were clearing out. She picked me up 4 bottles of 100 caps each of the MSM combo - $2.67 EACH. I said buy all 4, I'll pick them up from you tomorrow!! LOL
