More crab, and less mayo is a good thing.
Chilean cheers.

I start getting dizzy just thinking about food...I'm already tired of the camp cuisine and this is only my 4th week up here.
Chileans just aren't very imaginative cooks...their main seasoning is salt...lots of salt. They have all the fresh ingredients here, but just don't seem to know what to do with them.
I bring fruit and nuts and cheese and eat in my room. I, being a jefe grande of sorts, have a frig in my little room.

It's been all over the news Ringy. Even I know about it. I buy from a small shop here called Quality Greens. I can get anything there and their produce is wonderful. It is a Japanese man that owns it so maybe he buys from a special place. I've been using his green onions!!

Speaking of mayo...we have a heck of a time finding good old Kraft mayo down here...it's all Hellman's and it isn't the good white kind...it's kind of a tasteless yellow color. This in a country where I can buy 10-lbs of artichokes for about a buck.

Back in the day, we were too poor to have Mayo, so what I am used to, is Kraft Salad Dressing.
Still use it to this day.
God only knowss what's in any of it, however.

I'm off to the fa*t sack, has been a loooong day which started at 0500. Several minor to potentially major disasters narrowly averted.
See you tomorrow

This is the only recent photo of me I could find. I'm in our mine in Africa...probably hoplessly lost, wondering where the bread crumbs leading out are.
