I think it is nice to collect from around the USA as well as other places these sites many which have haunhting history!

We have an old bridge like that one in my home town..clinton Iowa going to Fulton IL..there is a pretty new one on the south end of town..well it is years old but still a good one and there is a new one on the north end too now but I remember the real old one..it used to swing if you walked across..and it had one of those grate like foundations so you could see the water lookking down...as a little kid that was pretty scarey....

I am confused it looked too small for a vehicle form the angle of the picture. Why would they build a bridge for a waterway unless the word has another meaning I am not familar with!

Flumes in the mountains have been used to move logs downhill, to divert snowmelt run-off across sensitive areas, to prevent erosion, to steal water rights, among other reasons, and I remember one was featured in the Disney movie, Charlie, the Lonesome Cougar.
