Interestingly, the lower deck of the bay bridge used to carry rails for a train. Now it carries east bound vehicle traffic.

Graham is gone good riddance too
His speeches set me snoring
Lieberman's too deja vu
and he's just had a Goreing

Kerry's wrapped in soldier suits
Gets no respect, just groans
He's wearing out his Vietnam boots
And taking out home loans

John Edward's primping for the ball
And getting a shampooing
He's headed for a pretty fall
But whom will he be suing?

Poor Carol's better days are past
The Embassy and Senate
Won't someone tell her that she's last
That there's no chance she'll win it?

The Reverand Al is showing gloss
From Puerto Rican sauna
But he can't shed his albatross
A clue: first name, Tawana

And Gephardt's trying not to lose
Poor former leader Dickie
He thought he'd paid his union dues
But workers think he's icky

There's charging General Wesley Clark
A dervish of machismo
He can't decide, to purr, to bark?
Say night-night generalissimo

The leader Doctor Dean (Howard)
Is leaving others gaspin'
Some say he's just a coward
'Cause he fought the war from Aspen

Now as he turns toward southern skies
Just like a homing pigeon
He's putting on a new disguise
It's called Old Time Religion

He has a problem though, you see
In chasing his ambitions
To counter Bush and Hillary
He's taking all positions

So no one knows just where he stands
He's all over the map
He stretches truth like rubber bands
And like them too he'll snap.

If this bunch plans on beating Bush

This is our new bridge over the Mississippi, opened Dec 15th. It was nine long years in the building. The older bridge was a nightmare of two narrow lanes. I hope to see the demolishment of the old bridge. It should be quite a sight to see it blown up and recovered from the river.

No, this is the new Bill Emerson bridge over the Mississippi from Cape Girardeau, Mo to Illinois. The town paid for it to be totally lighted, but they have not done that yet.
