My favorite sunset shots were taken just as storms were clearing up. The one above was a BIG storm - thunder and lightning and downpours all day. This was after a little passing storm...

I've heard that meteorologists refer to that phenomenon as "Jesus rays" ... it's like a crown of thorns has turned to light, piercing the dark clouds.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. When she first started going down hill it was hard .. but I'm doing ok now.

She was just tired and wanted to go home. Now she is with my dad and that is comforting

A panda walks into a bar and orders a sandwich,

the bartender gives it to him and the Panda eats it.

Then suddenly he shoots the bartenter and walks out.

The police catch him and ask why the Panda shot the bartender.

The Panda told him to look up Panda in the dictionary.

So the cop gets out his dictionary and looks up the word Panda.

In the dictionary it says, “Panda- eats shoots and leaves!”

My Mom, before she died, talked of others who we do not know. She also talked of relatives who were known to us, but in the very distant past.

Remember that phone call I had with my mom .. the one that lasted 132 minutes and 29 seconds? ... that is what she kept talking about. Alot of old relatives and the days when she was young.

Yes, Mo, I do remember you telling of that conversation with your Mom.

She probably knew, just like my Mom did, that it was time.

I am sure the funeral will be hard .. but I'm doing ok.

Mom has had a hard life and the last few years were even harder for her. Knowing that she is in peace and with her family, gives me a lot of comfort. I may not have her here with me on earth .. but I know she is not far from me in spirit.

Besides, years ago she told me she would haunt me forever .. she said it was payback for my teenage years .. and she'll do it too .. *L*

The funeral will not be hard...it is after you leave that will be hard.

But, Mo, your Mom sounds like mine. She will haunt you and that is a good thing. LOL
