"It was felt in LA and SF. I didn't feel it, my roommate in San Jose did." Well, where the heck are YOU at now that you didn't feel it?

There was a quake? Looks like I missed it. I guess I was shopping too intently.

For the record, I'm denying knowledge of holes in basements.

"now you done it! I want to know why null and void has holes in his basement floor? Some experiment gone wrong?" Nully, tell the nice lady why you have had holes in your basement.

"Are you referring to Nully or the basement holes?" ROTFL! Bless your heart, Catpuppy, you're one of a kind. Best be nice to Nully though, else he won't work so diligently to find a a job that will support you in the manner to which you have become accustommed.

I'm hearing that folks in San Francisco felt it, and I saw a post on another forum that someone in Walnut Creek felt it. We border Walnut Creek, so I suppose if I'd been home, and especially on the second floor of the house, I might have noticed it. It would certainly not register a 6.4 this far north. But, we've plenty of our own this year, but they were small ones.

Good point. I have amended my comment to read as follows:
Are you referring to Nully Swervie or the basement holes?"

Yep, I saw the thread, read some of the posts. 6.4 is a pretty good sized quake.
