(I mean "old" in the sense of long time and not as a reference to age.)
To: catpuppy
LOL. I knew what you meant. Same here, reading news, watching certain things transpire. Something's up.
To: Letitring
Smoooch.
Been having fun?

SWERVIE. Yes, having much fun. Enjoyed N.O. Attended several things with my old Judge. He's so sweet. I know alot of people wouldn't agree with that, but...:) I've never been hauled up in his court, either. Thank God. Can you imagine? OMG.

I've got the halls decked, bells ringing, carols in the air, gifts wrapped and some unwrapped. Wings wasn't supposed to be back until after the 1st. I'm uncertain now, because his Mom isn't doing too well. She isn't in dire straits, just having a tough Winter. SO, not sure about him. Everyone else is around. :)

I am glad the Flu looks light in Miss and you are getting to go out and party. I know this year will be better than the last two. Smooches

RINGYYYY!! How are ya! Good to see ya!
We've been busy over here on the left coast. Hubby got a couple of outdoor electrical outlets installed in the front of the house yesterday so I can put up some lights. I have a garland of lights on the handrail on the front steps - it looks gorgeous. Today, I'm putting up some clear lights on the early-blooming magnolia tree by the lamppost in the front. I know it's almost Christmas, but I'm just now getting around to it!
We're having dinner for 14 on Thursday, and I get to cook. Oh joy. We won't be starting the kitchen remodel until after the first of the year, so I'm having to make do with the old crappy appliances. Until yesterday, there were just 9, then hubby invited his cousin and his wife and their 3 children to join us. Oh my...my dining room table only seats 10. I guess the kids will just have sit at the table in the breakfast nook. I'm also going to have to supplement the menu. Oh well. Merry Christmas!

Oh my gosh yes. One of Bess' relatives is in there getting my dress all fluffed up for tonight. I can't wait. I've had such fun, but wonder about some things. Ya know? Like there are no smokers anywhere around me, no matter what part of the places I explore. :)The same folks are seated next to me, each time. I dance with the same crew. I do believe it's orchestrated. :) I'm not complaining though, for I am getting to go.

He Girlfriend. OMG. Sounds very serious. Hope you have fun, since that requires alot of work.
I wish Mo would post pictures of her lighted house. Maybe she will, later.
I love Christmas lights. I have garland, with lights around my front door and one window. Lights in flower beds and on some statues. The back yard looks like a Winter wonderland. I like it and think I might just keep it that way. :)

Until I reached age 12, I always had to sit at the childrens' table. :) I complained religiously, but missed it when I became too old. :)
That's an entirely acceptable solution and enjoyable by all.

Until I reached age 12, I always had to sit at the childrens' table. :) I complained religiously, but missed it when I became too old. :) At our house it was always a matter of space. We had to wait for somebody to die and leave an empty seat at the grownups table. At least being the oldest of my generation got me moved fairly early.
I have doggie walking duty, so I will see y'all later.

Same here. The kids are 15, 14, 12 and 7. The 15 year old belongs to my husband's sister, and I seriously doubt he'll be amenable to sitting at the children's table. He'll be 16 next month, and considers himself very grown up. I don't have a lot of choice but to have a separate table. Even with the leaves in my dining room table, I can't get everyone there. Plus, I only have 11 place settings of my "company" china. 11 is an odd number, I know, but I have the extra one to account for any future breakage. My pattern was discontinued this year. :(

Me too everybody. Got to scoot for now. Y'all be careful and I'll check back in later.
Swervie, I'm trying to be careful. Thanks for caring. Smooch.

Hard to get into the Christmas spirit down here...it was sunny and warm this morning and we were sitting by the pool.
Then had to drive to the site to try to straighten out some disasters. Sunday at the project! Rats!!
The wife and I are driving to Argentina for Christmas. Plan to hang out, shop for cool leather stuff and drink a lot of wine. I told the wife I wanted one of those full length leather coats that the Matrix dude wears...imagine the look I got.

I made it back home from "Return of the King" -- I returned! I'm not even a king... hmmm...
