Neat story. It is very interesting knowing your own relationship to history isn't it?

Yes, it is, and I have so much more research to do other than my family's version. Funny, they never mentioned the other brother, Mack, when my Aunt Thelma told the story. He must have became a black sheep in the family. LOL

I've really enjoyed the discoveries I've made in my family research. My favorite story is of my grandpa's great-grandfather who crossed the Cumberland Gap with Daniel Boone. He was captured by the Shawnee. They were a brutal tribe and few white men who were captured survived. They found him to be so entertaining that they kept him for 5 years and released him. In an unrelated incident, his young son was also captured by the Shawnee and later released.

Oh.
Yeah, sodium levels would do that, but I myself am still at a loss as to how that would happen unless she'd started to dehydrate.
But that doesn't seem possible or likely.

I'm taking up a cookie collection...

It's times like these when I want to be gran's bestest friend. Six dozen sugar cookies can buy a lot of love and good will. When did she say the chocolate chips will be ready?
To: Mo1
Hi Mo. Yes, Flash is here. Wings is in the Gulf, or supposed to be, anyway. Not sure when or if he'll be here. I've heard scary rumors, like today, for one. LOL.
Terror threat level raised and OMG the dolts on that thread can't be counted. Saving grace, plenty of intelligent folks on that thread too. :)
