Yes, I think you are correct about proper nutrition helping prevent macular degenerationi and cataracts. Too much exposure to ultraviolet light can result in catarcts in later life, so it is advisable to wear sunglasses that will filter out the UV.

And now I'm off to pick up Jessie from her field trip today and then I have to start working on their costumes for the christmas show .. groan
Good nees though ... they got their report cards today and they both passed .. Jessie's was a lot better then I thought it would be
