who ever heard of MAKING your own barbeque sauce? What?
I'm supposed to drill for it?
Easier to buy true love than a good sauce.

I have enjoyed your pictures whenever I have come across your posts out here on FR.com.
A few weeks ago, I had a tough day at work. I came home and took a nap. It was just for an hour or so, a rare thing for me, I assure you. I got up, and I was a bit disoriented. I went out into my back yard, and the light just struck me so amazing. It was quite unusual. I went back in the house and grabbed my camera and began to click away. Linked here is one image. I have about a I dunno, a dozen or so. I just thought that I would mention that it is because of some of your posts, that I had the notion to keep a camera nearby. About 10 minutes or so after this image, it was dark outside.

I make my own bbq sauce, too. It is thin, not that thick bottled stuff at the store.

Thanks, I did not post it here, because I have not quite yet mastered the resizing technique thing yet. It won't take me long to learn. The fact is, I have only just begun to seriously learn my image posting stuff.
I am on line 10 years now almost, and I never needed or wanted to post images or graphics before I encountered FR.com.

Yeah, FR tends to have that effect. It makes it so much more fun when you can post graphics.

I know y'all aren't into the Wildcats, but humor me. My dad sent me this:
A man had tickets for the UK/UL football game. As he sits down, a man comes down and asks if anyone is sitting in the seat next to him.
"No", he says, "the seat is empty."
"This is incredible," said the man. "Who in their right mind would have a seat like this for the Kentucky/Louisville game and not use it?"
He says "Well actually the seat belongs to me. I was supposed to come with my wife, but she passed away. This is the first Kentucky/Louisville game we haven't been to together since we got married in 1957."
"Oh ... I'm sorry to hear that. That's terrible. But couldn't you find someone else - a friend or relative to take the seat?"
The man shakes his head, "No. They're all at the funeral."

OMG, you have relatives in western Kentucky, too? My brother and I do not speak on the phone during March madness. He is too busy.
I have always considered March madness insanity and now you have proved it.

That's very pretty --- amazing how brief that blast of sunset or sunrise color can be.
I got into the habit of always having a camera with me when I worked for a newspaper years ago. Sometimes shots taken on my days off were the best of the week.

They floundered around a bit trying to find a theme and after a while came up with the 'Roadkill Cafe'. I had forgotten about the Roadkill .. LOL!
Restie ... it is a really long story and Westie, version isn't too far off
A little over 2 years ago a whole bunch of us use to post over at Lucianne's site .. that is till the bouncers started complaining that we were responding to each others posts and that was a big no no, which caused some to be banned from there. Then the Big Red Warnings started on the threads and we were referred to as "You People" .. we use to go by that name here on FR for a time, and then we were shortly referred to as The FReoples
I forget who suggested coming over here, but Christine emailed me to let me know where everyone was .. Tomkat was posting the threads with help from Swervie when Tom couldn't do it.
I think orginally there were close to 100 that came to FR ... Some stayed around for a while, some didn't stay .. others when to different threads and others just float around and check the articles out .. and others went over to LP
In the process of all of this, there were many ups and downs .. some were heated discussions and heated arguments and other times there were many good laughs and getting to know each other better.
After one heated argument, some went to the DD thread. After a bit of time as West mentioned we combined the DD & Freeoples thread.
We all here have many different opinions and many different view points on issues .. but most of all, we have a good bunch of folks on this thread who I am proud to call friends
