Turns out that around 4:30 yesterday afternoon while dismounting his truck, something caused him to fall, breaking his right hip, and spending the sub-freezing night on the ground covered with whatever leaves that he could reach, and necessitating either pinning the break or replacing the hip this afternoon.

It can happen to any of us who live alone. I cary my cellphone clipped to my belt inside and outside, and it sits next to the shower or the bed when I'm in them.

Very Pretty, Gran! Now I suppose I have to decorate, too! Yesterday I had to make turkey soup (enough to feed us for a few more days) Now I have to decorate..... Sit down!

Getting ready for some good homemade turkey soup and italian bread too.

Deano's lit up. Will have to get some pics when my camera is fit again. I ordered a new battery yesterday. This one is getting weak now, and doesn't hold a charge too long when I use the flash too much, or take timed shots. I ordered it just in the knick of nic.

I need to put some Christmas music on soon.. When Al is thru watching "Who wants to be a Millionaire.. D'uh...

I'll just have another cocktail.. and screw around in the meantime.. ;)

That was a sporty little car, Gran. I could hear it revving the engine and changing gears up the hill and around the turns for a full minute or more before it finally showed. Looked like a fun drive. Never seemed that fun in my mommobile van.

(She can do abstracts art, I cannot. I can do surreal, she cannot. Hmm... she says abstracts aren't art. Any suggestions or ideas on how to drag that stuff out of her head kicking biting and screaming?)
