Do you see them often? Again in a word..NO...
.....Westy.....
To: westmex
In a word...why?
To: Conservababe
Did you treat your Mama nice, Westy? Didn't have a whole lot of time to. She died not to long after I went in the Army....And my Dad had died while I was still in High School....No brothers or sisters either....
.....Westy.....
To: westmex
How sad that your parents never got to see you after you had really grown up. But, perhaps they did and do, after all.
To: Conservababe
I see the daughter every once in awhile..The last time was a week or so before Thanksgiving...Been a number of years since I've seen any of the Grandkids...As to a reason now.....The daughter graduated from College and married another ultra liberal..We sort of stand one another because of blood I guess....But I'm bloody handed for being in a war than killed all those sweet innocent Japanese, by fire bombing and nuking them...along with the inherited evil for having a Confederate Grandfather......
.....Westy.....

Westy, what a mess. LOL
You know what you should do to save your grand kids?
Invite all of them for a week at your place. I take it that you live in some rustic area of sorts. But no matter, you should make arrangements for all of them to visit you.
Then, while they are there, the brainwashing of the liberal parents would be erased by your stories of the truth.

S/Sgt in the Air Force...Don't see any gentlemanly qualities in that resume. Air Force, it's not like being in the real military...

Nope I don't live in a rustic area..Live in the suburbs of greater Seattle....A small house on a 75 X 125 ft. lot... As far as I know the 3 girls are good kids. The oldest working in records of a small hospital...The middle one going to college and living with her older sis...The youngest one is still living at home going to school and designing web pages....The grandson lives in Texas...He was here a while back, but didn't stop in to see me.....???????
.....Westy.....
To: westmex
So, do you want me to type the invitations for your grand children's visit?
To: null and void; Conservababe
Air Force, it's not like being in the real military...Just think, if everyone was in the Marines how crowded they would be...lol
Anyway, a long time ago the Babe told me I wasn't even a veteran....
.....Westy......
To: Conservababe
Nope, they know where I live and get around a lot better than I do...If they want to see me they can.....
.....Westy......
To: westmex
Oh pooh, I did not say you were not a veteran. I was merely trying to find out if you were stationed overseas.
And, of course, as all WWII vets are, you were closed mouthed of the war.

Well, I have to see a different Doc tomorrow....
So best I say Goodnight all...
Mañana will come, I sort of hope....

Nope, they know where I live and get around a lot better than I do...If they want to see me they can..... Darn, you sound just like the father of my children...my ex husband. He says the same...they know the road to my home.
But, sad but true, children and grandchildren need an invite to know that they are wanted.
So, my children and grandchildren seldom just show up at his home. And he wonders why. His loss and yours, perhaps.
