Two freepers in the Houston area are going to have a little “cat fight” this week. One is a season ticket holder and devoted Houston Texans fan. The other (me) is a born and raised fan of the New England Patriots. These two teams will face each other on the gridiron in Houston this coming Sunday. In appreciation of this anticipated football match, we have started a little football trash talk thread. Since both of us are cat people, the little furry ones have started their own “anticipation” of the football match.

Here are the kitties practicing their “end-zone” dance.

Once we finish the “face to face” discussion, it is off to the chat rooms.

Some fans resort to prayer for the desired result.

Yes, we're suckers for those whiskered faces and don't turn away any strays. We got lucky this year and only had two newcomers. At least we have a lot of room on the farm for all these critters.

Mice, rats, moles, birds, squirrels, bugs (big juicy bugs. ICK!), all are fair game and are brought to the porch as "presents". LOL!

Now if they'd just run the 'possums and racoons off from the food dish, I'd be happy. I get tired of feeding those varmints. But darned if the cats don't eat along side them. sheesh!!

*giggle* I have no idea whose kitty that is but I'm the one who posted it. Got that gem via e-mail....several times. It's making the rounds, apparently.
I almost fell outta my chair laughing when I saw it. The expression on that cat's face is priceless! My guess is that forgiveness wasn't given for quite a while after that pic was taken. LOL!!

Here's a shot of about a third of our "herd". (we're owned by 40 of the furry critters)

They were waiting to be let out for the day....their "door" is one of the kitchen windows. This is what I wake up to every day.
