Praying for the Capture of Saddam Hussein

Almighty God, we are taught throughout Your Bible that You are a God of Justice. It is because of this that we pray this simple prayer. We believe that Saddam Hussein is a past murderer and that he is still involved in murder. We pray that out of Your Divine Justice that You would enable him quickly to be captured and brought to the Justice that You decree.
We pray for your Divine intervention, Lord. Strip Saddam of his hiding places and of his support.
We pray this in the name of eternal Justice, in the name of Jesus.
Amen

re your 136....of COURSE it's the 'puter! We KNOW they have resident gremlins just plotting and planning to trip us up!!;-)
Agreeing in prayer with all who are calling forth the Will of God concerning the dispostion of Saddam Hussein.
I wish to state here to all that this thread is so very important. Focused, persistent prayer WORKS!! WE MUST CONTINUE PRAYING AND AGREEING TO THE LORD ON THIS THREAD AND THIS ISSUE!!
For inspiration and proof that this effort can work, the troop prayer thread Warriors are just now finishing a special month-long project where we pledged small extra devotions for the purpose of addressing certain issues which became known to us a month ago. One of the issues we placed on the altar was the prospect of LTC Allen West being court martialed for fulfilling his obligations to interrogate an enemy and obtain life-saving information for his troops. Today, Jeff Head has posted a thread confirming that there WILL NOT BE ANY PROSECUTION!

The LTC West piece is awesome.
God does answer from heaven. Prayer does change things.
As the angel told Daniel, "As soon as you began to pray, an answer was given..." Isn't that neat?

LORD, while the Iraqi's seek justice for the extreme acts of horror that Saddam has committed against his people, we seek your justice which is perfect. For what Saddam has done first was to sin against you. For you have said that the shedding of innocent blood is a horrible offense to you. Yet, mankind cannot exact perfect justice. Whatever is done on earth with respect to this evil will be imperfect, for we are imperfect. But, praise be to you for your perfection and your perfect sacrifice. And we thank you in advance for what you will do in this case. Help us to trust completely in your plan.
In this we 'pay homage to the Son,' lest we die. Amen.

Lord God, Your are worthy of praise, and glory, and honor, and blessing. Therefore, we bless Your name, O Lord, for You give good and perfect gifts to Your children.
You even enable us to pray. When we know not the words, God the Holy Spirit assists us that we utter those proper prayers which must be prayed.
Assist us, Lord, in uttering the proper words so that the murderer, Saddam Hussein, will be soon captured and brought to justice. We rely on You to guide us in everything; even in our prayers.
We pray in the name of Jesus; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen.
(You are encouraged to make some or all of every Friday a fast day regarding this and other concerns, according to your health needs and life issues. Please ping others you think would be interested.)

Father in Heaven,
We do indeed request your guidance in giving us the proper words which will move your heart to grant the intercession of our Savior to enter in and judge righteous judgement of this one, Saddam Hussein, who for so long has aligned himself with the forces of darkness.
Thou art the Word. Grant us the proper words. Grant us the ability to put on the whole armor of God and speak that Word. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and according to your divine Will, our Father, we call forth your Judgement upon Saddam Hussein.
We name him and we name the crimes he has committed. We ask that angels of record will read them completely before your throne and before your Holy Angels and your Saints. The blood of the Holy Innocents he has murdered is crying out for Justice. Father in Heaven, we call forth mercy upon those who lost loved ones to this man's insatiable thirst for spent blood. Strip from him the uncanny ability he has had in dodging just recompense for his atrocities. We petition you that this man will face accountability for his actions both in earthly courts and in heavenly courts.
Let our prayers be adjusted according to thy Holy Will, and let ONLY your divine Will be done in this matter.
amen

O Lord, You have told us those who are blessed. It is those who do not "walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. "
We can determine from this, Lord, that that wicked one, Saddam Hussein, is not blessed by You. We pray, therefore, Lord, that he be soon captured and brought to justice for his many and continuing murders.
We pray in the name of Jesus; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen.

Lord God, we pause to reflect on Your great mercy and compassion. It would be wrong of us not to pray for any sinner to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. In that light, we pray even for this evil man, Saddam Hussein, that he would give his heart to You.
And in that circumstance, he would be led to turn himself in and bow to the necessity of justice. If this be not so, Lord, then we continue our prayer for the soon capture of the murderer, Saddam Hussein.
For nothing shall be impossible with God.
In Jesus' name we pray; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen.

Yall think the military knows where is at? I was reading the thread about his wife. If true , we have to be close. Praying.
To: CindyDawg
Newsweek probably knows.
Maybe there's at least one patriotic American on their staff who would tip off the military.
But it's an outside bet.
