My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and I...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

It will go on into next week. There is the new washer and drier stackables to arrive and be connected.
Painter here today, one more chandelier to be hung.
Bathroom to be completed today (I hope), and kitchen also. Will I be glad about that.
Bedroom is done for now walls need to be painted, but not now. Just the chandelier there for now.
Only one painter today. Yesterday was absolute maddness, downpour of rain and 4 of them walking in and out of my home. Of course, no one wiped their feet.
I have a white wool oriental carpet on my living room floor, oh my gosh what a mess.
One workman did his job, left plaster all over the carpet in the bathroom and left for the day. I cleaned and mopped floors past midnight last night. Getting stressful to say the least, and doing my best to hold my temper. It will be so nice when it's done.

Heck, I am the self-proclaimed King of Drek and Drivel, and admit that some of my writing is either depressing to read or darkside influencing.
Yes, it takes some guts to post writ, but for me it's easier this way, throwing my writing out there in front of a bunch of (so far) faceless screennames.
My sis, ping'ed to threaded as well, is more of a poet than I.
And she conned *cough cogh* me into posting stuff more often.

I'll look forward to additional, more expert, opinion. I don't wish to post drivel, but I have to admit, it's bringing me to a whole different level in terms of trusting other people. :)

There you are. LOL.
I like it! Sad but there is a sweetness to it too.
Thank you so much for sharing it with us. :)

I'm really not this sad all the time. :)
It has been a difficult week. But then, that's why I write.

I trust bentfeather's opinion on things, as well as snippy's.
I myself post sometimes fragments of things, the small bits and pieces that pop into mind before you have the whole thing polished up.
Makes for an interesting way of showing the growth process of the idea.
But some of my stuff that truly is drivel has not been posted, yet.
I keep rewriting it.
*chuckle*
I find myself rewriting stuff that has already been posted at times.
Sis busts on me about being too much of a perfectionist about it.

Hmm... might be an interesting experiment after all.
Don't know anyone I'd do that to, though.
That's almost an act of mental genocide against healthy minds.
Banned by several fictional governments and hundreds of alternate dimension worlds.

Well, yes.
But the forum is basically anonymous until you actually meet people.
(One reason I haven't gone to local FReepmeets, in person I get extremely shy and find a corner to sit in and observe the rest of the room.)
I'm much better off staying anonymous for reasons above.
(I get VERY self conscious about it.)
*chuckle*
Knowing what little I do about psychology, this makes an interesting case.

Riding Horses
Riding Horses
I do not dare
such mighty
animals full
of power do scare
I love to look at them
with awe and often
wish I had the gall
to climb
on ones back
sit very tall
and
ride the winds above
the noise
to sit there
very poised
and show
nay, I'm not
afraid of
you at all.

I don't wish to post drivel..Oh why not? LOL. I call mine rambling..
It's a good way to unwind and just relax with friends. Feather is a gracious hostess and she has no rules. If I waited for something to be exactly what I wanted before I posted it I would never get anything out here.

Same reason I write.
I write because I am driven to do so by the ghosts of my past and the echo'd words in the rain.
The events as transpired has shriven my reason and enveloped my heart in pain.
I do not mind the smiles across the fields of forested weeds in memory.
But my ghosts haunt me from close to home from among the bushes and shrubs of my home
And I write to gain absolution, to banish my ghosts for yet a little more time.
And sometimes I just plain come up with something odd from dream and need to write it down to get it out of my head...

Re: re- writing.
Seldom do I do it. Usually, I write once, do a quick check for spelling errors, cause I am a terrible speller, then hit the post button.
Oh by the way, spelling errors on my part get out there too. LOL
We always correct those things in our head anyway.

I'm glad it's back up, for now, too.
I like what he wrote, it made sense, flowed well, and had excellent sense of composition and 'self' to it.
*Chuckle*
I do try to be entertaining, life is so boring without some fun.
For me, writing is play, and in this play we live out our days.
*head scratch*
I'm babbling!
I need either coffee or chocolate to think clearly!
(I don't really need chocolate, but I admit to an addiction to it like a diabetic. Chocolate addiction runs in my family.. As does the sense of humor and the other odder aspects of my relatives.)
I must now run and dodge the sister's attempts to dent my skull.
I'll be back, much worse for wear prolly.

I don't re-write my prose. I do re-post it though. LOL.
I did rearrange my haiku while writing the lines but the prose pretty much just flows and I post. Yep, I've had plenty of typos out here!
You have a very welcome place feather, thanks.
