~The Dragon Flies' Lair IV~

My Dragon Fly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and I...

And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

The Unicorn

The Unicorn has one horn
and I have sworn not to
tell the secret of the
one horn Unicorn.
From the day I was born
I have known the secret
of the Unicorn...
He was placed under a
spell by the no good
Knight Fair Thee Well
since that day
I swore I would not
tell the secret of
one horn Unicorn
all has been well!!

Dawn's Thougths

My dawn's thoughts wonder
what night fears seek
your spirit out
and dare stars mornings
to predict your lonely love

Loving you is like raking leaves
in the wind
up comes a gust
and you must
be gone riding the wind
And I am left
to wonder
when you'll drift
my way again...

Part the Third

Dawn...
the ending of Night,
and the beginning of the world of Light.

...and We are hiding.

Our time is over, these too-short hours of darkness which sustain us;
We leave our jobs, our night watches, and our places,
But before we return to the cells we create, as monastics of old;

We mount our silicon coursers, and ride the fields of Cyberspace,
We leave our messages and reports for one another, in the chinks of the walls,
passing through the corridors of this other-place,
seeking our bretheren, and finding them gone from here.

But the messengers are sure and true, and our bretheren arrange the meetings;
We hurry through the night, for our last discourse, and find each other;

And we dance the Virtual Waltz;
We clasp hands through space and time;
And we linger at the ballroom doors, whispering our goodbyes...

Until the daemons drop us from their grasp, and send us plummeting back to our cells, there to rest, perchance to dream...

...until the Moon rides above us once more.

Listen to Us...
The Children of the Night Shift...
What Music We Make.

I have longed to post in the Poetry Branch for many months.

I love Coteblanche, and I wish that certain things were else. I am not truly of a short fuse, but I am a bit impatient. Quite a bit impatient, actually. It is simply not the same thing, and words are unavailable, in this language where we know home. I study words, and logic, I revere the Logos!

I contradict myself, but not in my view, not exactly. I share truth, as I perceive it.

I hope that you all will show me around this new Forum. I am very thirsty, and I do not like living in a desert!

I seek the aliyah! moving on up, and stuff!

Aliyah, is more than any Dictionary shows.

Regarding that post concerning Beowulf

It was stupid (not the post, but the endlessness of it) and in my view a bit dismaying.

I know a few things, and I know what incites a body to interest. Don't bury me with your excellence. Just show me the path.

This is what I try to do, every day, in my own way.

I link, therefore,I am!

The Higher Critics, engage themselves in the dissection of words and all of the ancient texts. I have often contemplated their motives. I think that I am or have been called to explain my understanding.

The Higher Critics, it appears, believe that they are brilliant, and more better at understanding certain things, better than this lonely boy, who resides in a box.

Too bad for those Holier than thou critics, who never saw me coming. I know their works. I paid in cash for my college courses, for these people who went out of their way to undermine my Spirit, and beliefs.

I can here offer a soft rebuke, but, in truth, I understand, much! It is my gift, known in a way, as a curse, by Yours Truly.

I hope that you can understand.

Here is some know.

People are not stupid. I wax fatigued. I challenge anyone to honest and open dialogue, on any issue.

I am that certain of myself.

Please don't bore me with lengthy posts. It is stupid. I am on line, and I know how to follow a hyper link. I don't like scrolling. I'd just as soon delete spam. It is all the same thing, when you really think about it, a waste of time.

I read about Beowulf thirty years ago. Do you want to know what it really means?

It is about the elements, and early humans and thier struggles against the natural world, Thunderstorms, and snakes, and other such things. That is the root of all paganism. I have done my homework.

Now I am ready, to wax poetic.

I hope that you can handle me.

I am the Radical X!

Oh, one more thing of a personal note, just to impress any who reads, I am a High School drop out!

Indeed, I am that!

Want a link, to a short Sci Fi story?

Try, The Swarm. It is real thinking piece of work.

I have the book, here near, but I cannot tear myself away from this linking machine, at this time. I assure you it is a work that is thought provoking, and worth some certain consideration.

Only my my true mate can offer me that power, and she will, soon. I will vanish from the Internet, but not without a warning, to all who have interest, in anything that I have to say.

It is a short story about the Universe, and the arrogance of thinking persons. I cannot access it now, but I assure all that it is out there. I am just too tired right now to prove it to you. Seek it, and know cynicism! Zzzzs are in my near moments ahead, Pardon!

I can sit here with words stoic

Not knowing words bucolic

I can play with the words

Simplicity

Serendipity

Easily

Honestly

Would you like to know me?
