My daughter lives in the Quad cities - specifically Rock Island with several nuke plants. We have 6 Reactors in Illinois:
Braidwood
Byron
Clinton
Dresden ( near Morris, Illinois has poor marks for being one of the 6 worse in our nation)
LaSalle County
Quad Cities

If anyone can tell me the possible scenarios and the fallout, it would be greatly appreciated. My daughter has 3 children and one on the way.

Nuclear Terrorism Sabotage and Terrorism of Nuclear Power Plants -The threat of nuclear terrorism most often brings images of a city totally flattened and incinerated by a nuclear bomb. While many focus on the problems associated with stolen weapons-grade nuclear materials, particularly those originating from the former Soviet Union, the greater threat may actually be an attack against a nuclear power plant. Terrorists would be able to skip the formidable task of assembling or stealing a nuclear bomb. There are more than a few terrorist experts who believe that a nuclear power plant will be successfully assaulted before terrorists have the ability to deliver a nuclear weapon

"Illinois Nuclear Safety Preparedness Act" - It is declared to be the policy of the General Assembly to protect the people of the State of Illinois against adverse health effects resulting from radiological accidents by establishing a mechanism for emergency preparedness to mitigate the effects of such accidents. The General Assembly finds that it is appropriate that the nuclear industry in Illinois bear costs associated with preparing and implementing plans to deal with the effects of nuclear accidents

Illinois
In the mid-1990s there were

13 Nuclear Power Plants in Illinois,

of which one was at Clinton and two each were at Braidwood, Byron, Cordova, Morris, Seneca, and Zion. Illinois has more nuclear power plants than any other state and gets more electricity from nuclear energy than does any other state.
