It seems as though we are on the edge of something, on the bubble, like something big is about to happen . . . we're due for something major . . . like capturing Saddam or OBL . . . or a very large scale terror attack . . . it's just been too long since anything unusually significant has happened, and all the recent chatter has seemingly died off, yet many European countries have suddenly raised their alert status . . . just feels like something is about to come down . . . I'm not talking about anything supernatural, just my observation of the usual "news" cycle, the ebb and flow of world events . . . the stage is set . . .

Well, between the news (foreign and domestic) and various discussion forums and chat rooms --- it does seem a bit busy lately.

A co-worker of mine mentioned that there were military helicopters flying above Brooklyn/lower Manhattan early this morning. She said she was a bit nervous about coming in to the city.

You may not be, but many are. The confluence of material news and spiritual "news" makes me believe that trouble is afoot. I feel a certain sense of relief each morning I wake up and the clock radio is playing music or the top news item is MJ/Kobe/Peterson/weather, etc.

It seems as though we are on the edge of something Could be. I just don't know what to believe anymore regarding terroristic threats. It is difficult to maintain the emotional pitch to deal with the threats and warnings. My family has certainly prepped in about every way possible (both provision-wise and spiritually), including preps for certain types of WMD attacks, and I should be glad nothing has needed to be unpacked thus far. But I begin to feel a little foolish. I can only hope that some type of divine inspiration prompted me to do this, or at least just good planning sense, as some type of unanticipated event could occur at any time, terroristic or natural.
