[history]
Monday, November 3, 2003
A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.
The message accuses the United States of predetermining its end (doom) by its policies. ?The Jews rule the Pentagon by remote control and (are the cause) of Muslims being killed in every corner of the world. The United States should therefore expect more blows.?
The message is signed on behalf of the al Bayan (The Threat) movement by ?your warrior brother, Abul Hassan al Khadrami?.
Our Muslim expert identifies the name of the signatory as belonging to a Yemeni from Hadhrameuth, the Bin Ladens? place of origin where Osama enjoys substantial tribal support.
DEBKAfile?s counter-terror sources stress that warnings appearing on these forums are taken both very seriously and with caution by the intelligence services keeping track of the terrorist network?s electronic traffic.
Last November, Jeddah-based fundamentalist forums addressed a message to an Al Qaeda member, saying whoever understands ? understands; whoever knows, knows, but we are marching towards an operation that will take us to Paradise. Three days later, the Mombasa Paradise hotel was blown up killing 12 Kenyans and 3 Israelis and a failed shoulder-launched Strela anti-air missile missed an Israeli airliner at Mombasa airport.

I understand. :) I'm still looking for information. Can't seem to switch out of this mode, for long. I've managed to get some things going today, but not many. Going to supply up, tomorrow. At least I am trying to make myself plan this. :)

Gulf Air uses ***American Airlines*** as its codeshare partner to New York - JFK, Newark, Boston and Los Angeles. All codeshare services use ***London*** Heathrow Terminal 3 as the connecting point between the Gulf and the USA. Flights operate in the GF5100-5199 range.

I don't understand what codeshare is.

I did not watch Matthews very often after the end of the clintoon impeachment debacle. Before that time, I could tolerate and even enjoy watching him. But then he went back to being his true liberal left self. The night he had hitlery rotten on, I changed channels quickly and swore off his show for good. I will not watch that wench or anyone fawning over her. But I am glad to hear that Chris is coming down on the right side of the fingerprinting issue. P.S. I would watch hitlery rotten on Bill O'Reilly's show, though. ;) That I would love to see... he he. I bet alot of people would!

WASHINGTON -- Airlines have been asked to tell passengers they shouldn't congregate near aircraft lavatories because of security concerns, the Transportation Security Administration said Wednesday. There is much I would like to say regarding my US-UK trips and security, however I feel it would be best not to comment in detail regarding what they did and did not do on these flights and at the airport. Overall, security was very thourough. Thanks for the info, these TSA directives are an important step to prevent a disaster, because if they were to construct a bomb on board, the only place to do it would be in the bathrooms.

Gulf Air doesn't fly all the way to the States. They'll fly you to London where you switch to an American Airlines flight, but it's consider a "Gulf Air" primary sale. Gulf Air pays American Airlines to continue their flight on to the States.

I keep timing out trying to surf their Flight information.

My prayers for you, Liz. See you when you you get back. There will not be a terrorist attack in the USA while you are in the hospital, so don't worry about that. Just concentrate on your relaxation and recovery.

No, I'm nowhere near Chicago. I'm about four miles from Mt. Rushmore in South Dakota. My husband and son were flying from Rapid City, SD. to Louisville this morning. They had connecting flights in Denver and Chicago. There are no direct flights to anywhere from here. In Denver, they noticed a lot of emergency response vehicles on the runway and called me to see if there was anything on the news about it. I checked the news and then FR (my "go to" place for breaking news) nothing there either. Their flight from Chicago to Louisville was cancelled....no reason. They then caught a flight to Indianapolis and rented a car to get to Louisville. We fly alot (too much as far as I'm concerned)...this must be the "new normal".
Thanks for asking.
P.S. You are doing a fantastic job on this thread!

Looks like EgyptAir codeshares with British Airways, Air France, Alitalia, Delta and Lufthansa.
I was checking flights on Travelocity.com

The MILF is the vanguard of the Islamic movement in the Bangsamoro homeland in Mindanao Yes, I saw that one on Google too. Did you check any of the other 7,800,000 hits? >:-]
To: Velveeta
Egypt Air does come here though. Maybe they codeshare some flights. But not all.
How about their cargo flights?

I think both bear some scrutiny. Connections on American (Eagle) would be made before coming to the US.

I raise my glass of vodka tonic with a twist of lime to you and say Cheers!

True; but, an inbound flight without a codeshare would then have to go through another countries security. Airline security is not the same originating from a M.E. line.
