Al Qaeda again threatens New York, Washington and Los Angeles - Daily Terror Threat

Monday, November 3, 2003

A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.

The message accuses the United States of predetermining its end (doom) by its policies. ?The Jews rule the Pentagon by remote control and (are the cause) of Muslims being killed in every corner of the world. The United States should therefore expect more blows.?

The message is signed on behalf of the al Bayan (The Threat) movement by ?your warrior brother, Abul Hassan al Khadrami?.

Our Muslim expert identifies the name of the signatory as belonging to a Yemeni from Hadhrameuth, the Bin Ladens? place of origin where Osama enjoys substantial tribal support.

DEBKAfile?s counter-terror sources stress that warnings appearing on these forums are taken both very seriously and with caution by the intelligence services keeping track of the terrorist network?s electronic traffic.

Last November, Jeddah-based fundamentalist forums addressed a message to an Al Qaeda member, saying whoever understands ? understands; whoever knows, knows, but we are marching towards an operation that will take us to Paradise. Three days later, the Mombasa Paradise hotel was blown up killing 12 Kenyans and 3 Israelis and a failed shoulder-launched Strela anti-air missile missed an Israeli airliner at Mombasa airport.

This "cosmic convergence" will also cause the super volcano at Yellowstone to explode.

The Weekly World News' predictions are a little more believable than this.

Nope. It will happen. It's just a question of whether it will be before or after they've forcibly converted the whole world.

After they've killed off everyone else they'll kill each other for not being pure enough møøselimbs.

Killing is their #1 skill set. It's what they do. It's all they really know...

here goes again.......israel is asking america to fight for her

DAMASCUS (Reuters) - Syria's official press slammed President Bush
(news - web sites)'s call for democracy in the Middle East on
Saturday, saying freedom could not be imposed by force and that Arabs
did not need lessons on democracy.

Bush challenged foes Iran and Syria as well as key ally Egypt on
Thursday to adopt democracy, saying past U.S. policies of supporting
non-democratic Middle East leaders had failed.

But analysts said Bush mainly criticized U.S. foes rather than the
region's least democratic states.

In a front page editorial, Syria's daily al-Thawra newspaper accused
Washington of trying to act as a regional guardian.

"The American administration is practicing the role of guardian over
sovereign states. Threatening to impose democracy by force kills
democracy and assassinates freedom," it said.

"The people of the region are not in need of lessons in democracy and
freedom."

Syrian-U.S. ties are strained over accusations by Washington that
Damascus is turning a blind eye to militants crossing its borders into
Iraq (news - web sites) to fight U.S. troops. Bush has blamed "foreign
terrorists" in part for a wave of violence in Iraq.

Syria, which said on Wednesday relations with Washington were the most
negative in years, says it is working to secure the border, and called
on the United States to do the same on the Iraqi side.

Syria also questioned how Washington can call for democracy in the
Middle East while it is occupying an Arab state.

"Can there be a democratic revolution by occupying sovereign
countries' land? Can it be by jets and cannons and destructive
weapons?" the paper said.

"This speech...is not in the interests of the United States of America
at all, and it is not in the interest of the region."

Syria is also under heavy U.S. pressure for its backing of Lebanese
Hizbollah guerrillas and Palestinian groups opposed to Israel, which
last month bombed what it said was a training camp for militants deep
in Syria for the first time in 30 years.

The U.S. House of Representatives also voted last month to impose
diplomatic and economic sanctions on Syria until the White House says
it no longer supports "terrorists."

If the Senate approves the measure as is expected, Bush could sign it
into law.

Subject: Afghan Prisoners Beaten to Death at US Interrogation Base (we wont forget u)

Afghan Prisoners Beaten to Death at US Military Interrogation Base

Two prisoners who died while being held for interrogation at the US
military base in Afghanistan had apparently been beaten, according to
a military pathologist's report. A criminal investigation is now under
way into the deaths which have both been classified as homicides.

The deaths have led to calls for an inquiry into what interrogation
techniques are being used at the base where it is believed the
al-Qaida leader, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, is now also being held.
Former prisoners at the base claim that detainees are chained to the
ceiling, shackled so tightly that the blood flow stops, kept naked and
hooded and kicked to keep them awake for days on end.

The two men, both Afghans, died last December at the US forces base in
Bagram, north of Kabul, where prisoners have been held for
questioning. The autopsies found they had suffered "blunt force
injuries" and classified both deaths as homicides.

A spokesman for the Pentagon said yesterday it was not possible to
discuss the details of the case because of the proceeding
investigation. If the investigation finds that the prisoners had been
unlawfully killed during interrogation, it could lead to both civil
and military prosecutions. He added that it was not clear whether only
US personnel had had access to the men.

One of the dead prisoners, known only as Dilawar, died as a result of
"blunt force injuries to lower extremities complicating coronary
artery disease", according to the death certificate signed by Major
Elizabeth Rouse, a pathologist with the Washington-based Armed Forces
Institute of Pathology, which operates under the auspices of the
defence department. The dead man was aged 22 and was a farmer and
part-time taxi-driver. He was said to have had an advanced heart
condition and blocked arteries.

Chris Kelly, a spokesman for the institute, said yesterday that their
pathologists were involved in all cases on military bases where there
were unusual or suspicious deaths. He was not aware of any other
homicides of prisoners held since September 11. He said that the
definition of homicide was "death resulting from the intentional or
grossly reckless behaviour of another person or persons" but could
also encompass "self-defence or justifiable killings".

The death certificates for the men have four boxes on them giving
choices of "natural, accident, suicide, homicide". The Pentagon said
yesterday that the choice of "homicide" did not necessarily mean that
the dead person had been unlawfully killed. There was no box which
would indicate that a pathologist was uncertain how a person had died.

It is believed that Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, described as the number
three in al-Qaida, is being interrogated at Bagram. He is said to have
started providing information about the possible whereabouts of Osama
bin Laden whom he is said to have met in Pakistan last month. Most
al-Qaida suspects are being held outside the US which means that they
are not entitled to access to the US judicial system.

Two former prisoners at the base, Abdul Jabar and Hakkim Shah, told
the New York Times this week that they recalled seeing Dilawar at
Bagram. They said that they had been kept naked, hooded and shackled
and were deprived of sleep for days on end. Mr Shah said that American
guards kicked him to stop him falling asleep and that on one occasion
he had been kicked by a woman interrogator, while her male colleague
held him in a kneeling position.

The commander of the coalition forces in Afghanistan, General Daniel
McNeill, said that prisoners were made to stand for long periods but
he denied that they were chained to the ceiling. "Our interrogation
techniques are adapted," he said.

"They are in accordance with what is generally accepted as
interrogation techniques, and if incidental to the due course of this
investigation, we find things that need to be changed, we will
certainly change them."

In January, in his state of the union address, President George Bush
announced that "3,000 suspected terrorists have been arrested in many
countries" and "many others have met a different fate" and "are no
longer a problem to the United States".

The other death being investigated is that of Mullah Habibullah, the
brother of a former Taliban commander. His death certificate indicates
that he died of a pulmonary embolism, or a blood clot in the lung.

Also, Daleel has uploaded a new pic called Osama21---1.jpg.
It appears to be identical to the original Osama21.jpg 'Moon' picture, but it is 1 byte smaller. I've run it through a difference check and there are some small differences, probably just due to being saved with a different jpeg compression setting. Any PhotoShop or Steganography gurus out there that can give these images a look to see if there is any hidden message?
