I have been a registered Freeper since November 1997. I posted rarely but read daily. I was proud to be in the company of thinkers and conservatives. Last week I read an article by Ann Coulter defending Rush. I liked it. I emailed it to all the liberals that I know. They have been on me since this ESPN and drug thing hit. One of the people I emailed it to came back with a rant on George Bush and conspiracy this and conspiracy that. It was really off the deep end. However the man that sent it is well educated and otherwise a good guy. I am (as you can see) not a wordsmith by any stretch of the imagination. In the past when I needed some good comebacks I would post the rants on freerepulic and would almost always get some good replies. I did this last week in the morning with a short note of who it was from and asking for help in rebutting it. I got nothing to speak of. So not wanting to waste another post I just copied and pasted the post on a few other threads. Still no reply. Then I thought the real thinkers must be at work. That evening I reposted the email with the same paragraph letting everyone know it was not from me and I was needing some help. The next morning I went to look and found that I have been banned from FREE republic. All privileges have been cut off. No explanation of what I did wrong so I could apologize. I emailed Jim Rob and the webmaster and got no reply. I now feel like a Liberal troublemaker. I had to re register to even post this. Carjic was my old username. Just in case this was a mistake please email me at carjic@swbell.net. If not then at least have the courtesy to tell me why I am banned. Sincerely Bruce D Smith

If you were expecting a reply on a weekend, forget it.

The formu is so dead on weekends that you could post naked photos of hillary, donna shalala, and a baby octopus together in a play-pool full of mayonnaise and kaopectate and not get any responses.

I was suspended for 72 hours for doing something stupid to article titles. A permanent ban is something different.

FR is a privilege not a right. We all post at our own risk. We all make mistakes.

I suggest you freemail jimrob and ask how you can get reinstated.

As for someones mention of "sleepers" from DU(mp)... it's true. I know of one now that's a sleeper and he's been on for 3 years. I was perusing DU(mp) and saw a Du'rs link to FR, and proud of his remarks. I confronted him on FR and emailed JR. He's still here.
