My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guides we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and I...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

It's original written construction looks different, but the words are in the same order.
(I do have a habit of rewriting on the fly if the wording looks clunky to me.)

It comes after a small humor sketch of a globe with a mouth and teeth titled "Terra bite industries" in my small notebook that was missing...
Now found.

But the words are so well chosen I would never guess it came from humour.
It's all in the way we read and interpret the words. We have our own understanding.

It was done on a day where I was bouncing back and forth on an emotional roller coaster.
It was not a good day that day.

This is one of those days for me. Up and down.
And I am not unhappy, don's know what's going on.
Must be the stars!!

(singing)
She - shot me with a rubber band gun
She was - the Mob enforcer's daughter.
Yeah, it's one of those days today.

Engineer
Be my engineer
draw a line to me
we need not argue
if it's obtuse
or if your a recluse
and I am a goose
or if we are all
wrapped and
running loose
draw my line to the moon
met me there under her
glowing warm light
and we speak of love
hot summer nights
sand dunes and
dancing gypsies
my poet friend let's
dance our dance

Dragon in Flight
There amid the towering white towers of clouds he flew,
against that bright cerulean sky, and I rode him with joy.
Swift as the very wind, and bright as the morning sun,
his scales of deep emerald green sparkled like jewels.
Just us two to challenge the sweeping sky,
and the imperial towers of ivory shade.
Daring to top the highest tower,
or swooping into depths of hidden gloom.
Dancing in the air, in halls of crystal fragments high,
I see the last lights of day on swirling vapors play.
We venture into palaces of the air, and do so without care,
conquering the moment upon our estates we fly.
Wide his wings, that crack with mighty power,
lifting us to places only we can go alone.
His lashing tail sweeps the sky in warning of our strength,
and we ascend the cloudy staircase to grandeur.
He has talons like iron, and claws of tempered steel,
and a hide decorated with green armored scales.
This mighty beast is my true friend, and we journey yet again,
touching the sky, and wondering at our freedom as we fly.

Oh that's wonderful Triker. Thanks so very much!!

Now make that Dragon a Dragonfly, and its Bentfeather who dances on the wind and plays in those vapor halls. I think of you as a Fairy riding that great black Dragonfly into mystery and magic and always with a playful heart.
