My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guides we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and I...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

I am trying to understand better how inconvenient some of our pesky laws can be for illegal immigrants.
I guess it's this way Flurry, "Everything that was wrong is Right and Everything that Was Right is Wrong."
The PC Crap.
When my grandparents came to America they had to toe the line and live according to US Laws, they got no hand outs and would not have taken any.
No laws where bent for them they came here legally, too. I have my grandmother's pass port from 1899. It was written in five languages. The church in Finland had to attest to the state of my grandmother's health.
I get very angry about these border issue, too.

Long term, illegal immigration and over legal immmigration are a bigger threat than terrorists. We need the melting pot back, we are creating a Tower of Babel.

Scottish biographer James Boswell wrote, "I think no innocent species of wit or pleasantry should be suppressed, and that a good pun may be admitted among the smaller excellancies of lively conversation."

we are creating a Tower of Babel.
Yes, and that's what some really want.
To: bentfeather
We have to stop it somehow while we still can.

Touch the Dragon Fly for
Phil Collins and You'll Be In My Heart.
Cold Days of Winter bleak,
stark, barren I miss you most...
the earth sleeps and I unmoved
feel the emptiness weighing on me.
Why did you go?
Moon light echos desolate days
and nights of your going
Star light puncuates the vastness of the void.

Trike
October Nights
Dark winds moan,
sliding down black barren hills above the moors,
into isolated fog bound gullies and bends,
leading one to somewhere.
Sounds shift in random tone,
as if coming from a long hall of many doors,
as moods and moments become then wend,
a heartbeat from here.
Chill the wind and cold the night,
as fog sets the stage for magics flight,
as All Saints Night is upon us now,
its time of dominance so unchanging.
A heart is moved by shifting light,
and things almost seen with mortal sight,
the spirit feels the nearly there somehow,
and each remembers fears in passing.

Hi Trike!
So good to have you stop around the Lair.
Good poem you have left here nearing the night of spooks and goblins.
You take care now and come around when you can, always a pleasure to read good writing.

One for the Ladies, sorry I'm so tied up with the 12 hour shifts, keepsme from stopping by as often as I'l like!
Rapture of the Senses
My lovers eyes sparkle with their fire,
and I wish in it again to burn awhile.
Those soft sweet lips of which I never tire,
touch every nerve and subject me to their trial.
Like a pair of temple dancers entwined,
sliding across the stage of my skin,
two hands touch me without limit of any kind,
and so their dance sets fire to me within.
Their breath scorches me with their soft inner fire,
and leaves me shuddering from the joy that I find.
Whispers pleading and promising that which we desire,
as we burn together, bodies, souls, and minds.
Minds enraptured, bodies entwined, and souls as one,
breaths in time to a galactic pulse measuring our time.
The race of enjoined hearts by us both is won,
as both surrender to passions final mime.
