~The Dragon Flies Lair III~
October 18, 2003 | bentfeather

My Dragon Fly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guides
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and I...

And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Good night radu. See you later. I'm really pooped tonight.

I was cleaning my house and now my back is in a snit. Oh, I burned out the motor on my little cleaner, too. :-(

Good early, early morning y'all.

I'm no poet but there's poetry of sorts in Nature. Once in a while, I get lucky and capture a bit of it with the camera.

Instead of a dragonfly, I thought I'd share this evening's sunset over the farm as my "poetry" contribution. hehe!

*siiiigh* Pictures just don't do it justice. There was so much more lit up in splendor, but I really wanted that sliver of the moon in the shot.

Beautiful sunset!

Not quite as beautiful as Oregon's though.

Picky, picky, picky. LOL!!!!
I caught it just a tad late...the colors were starting to lose their intensity. But it was a LOT prettier than last night's sunset....no rain tonight. hehe!

I think of nature as a symphony. The best parts of the movement are sunrise and sunset. I seldom miss a sunrise or a sunset. That give me inner peace.
