For some reason, Tim Scott was selected as the RNC election honcho. He’s far more responsible for the GOP failures than Susie Wles.
I’ve never understood the infatuation with Tim Scott. He was another one of Mitch’s acolytes, like Cornyn and Tillis.

I kind of thought Susie was planning to retire at year’s end anyway. It is typical for some top level staff to move on after Mid Term Elections. That goes for both parties.
Susie doesn’t appear to demonstrate any significant level of control over the president for his style of diplomacy, or lack thereof; his constant name calling of those in the media who express disagreement.
Maybe she has tried, but been disregarded by Mr. Trump more often than not.
The buck stops with the White House Chief of Staff.
