In a campaign speech, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz acknowledged that "the era of unconditional love that the US has shown to Europe since World War II are over. The generosity that every US president since Truman has shown toward Germany and our fellow European states has been ended by the cruelty of President Trump. Fortunately, the defensive shield from Russian aggression provided by US arms is no longer needed. The hundreds of billions that shield saved us permitted us to provide ample social welfare benefits that would otherwise not have been possible."
Merz went on to mock Trump's "humiliation by Iran in the foolish war he initiated against the Islamic regime that had previously been at peace with the rest of the world since its inception in 1979. I think this disproves the claim that the US is a superpower that everyone else must heed lest they be 'annihilated,' as Trump falsely claims Iran has been."
Trump said "I am neither impressed nor surprised by Chancellor Merz's ingratitude nor his 'declaration of independence.' It's long overdue that the fully grown men of Europe learn to fend for themselves in the world. Iran has been funding terrorist attacks around the world since 1979. On top of this, countries like Germany, France, and England are embedded with millions of potentially hostile Muslims who may soon outnumber and outvote native Germans, French, and English citizens. All three of the effete governments of these countries have rising populist opposition parties that could still prevent this bleak future, but all are foolishly trying to suppress the desire of their citizens to remain German, French, or British."
Merz scoffed at "Trump's notion that our efforts to stifle the unwanted intrusion of anti-globalist ideas into our patterns of governance will be thwarted. These populists have been kept out of power and will continue to be kept out of power no matter how many votes they get in any elections. We've already seen how obsessed Trump is with the idea of Iran having nuclear weapons. Well, both the UK and France already have nuclear weapons. What if voters in each of those countries elect Islamists to power? What will Trump do about that?"
In related news, Hasan Piker asserted that "the world would be a more stable place if Iran had nuclear weapons. Without nuclear weapons Iran is forced to fund numerous terrorist attacks around the world in its quest to conquer the world for Allah. If Iran had nuclear weapons it could achieve the same result by merely threatening to use those weapons. The cowardly infidels would yield to Iran's demands without any blood having to be shed. The whole world would be for Allah and no further terror attacks would be necessary. There would be world peace forever from that point on."

One former Israel Prime Minister opined that if Islam didn’t have Ireal to hate then they’d have to invent an Isreal. His meaning was that Islam preaches hate. If there’s no outside enemy to hate, then it would consume itself. Is there a Suni Muslim who believes that a Shia nuclear power would be benevolent? If so he’s an idiot. The reverse is also true.
The only thing that has kept Pakistan from nuking neighboring and even some internal threats, is the complex dynamics of dealing with India and America. Rest assured that the moment outside threats were minimized the nuclear power version of Islam would enforce its own cultural purity. Purity in this case means their side lives and the other side dies.
Picture the Wars of the Reformation, or the Crusades, but with nuclear weapons. The West has liberalized to the point where they foolishly let cultural enemies bent on destroying them and their culture into their big tent. It will not end well. As to what nuclear powers do when they are about to fall and know it, let’s hope they go with the South African model. They invite the UN to take all their nuclear weapons before they exit the stage. Had it not been for that fact who knows what the present anarchist state would have done with them?
