Republicans currently hold 53 Senate seats, meaning Democrats would need a net gain of four seats to take control of the chamber-Vance being the tie-breaker.
It is unfortunate that the SAVE Act didn’t become law. It would have gone a long way to address “The Art of the Steal.” Those in power had different priorities than the integrity of our elections.
Vote early, vote often.
DEMOCRAT TURNOUT IS RELATIVELY CONSTANT
ALL RACES ARE DECIDED BY GOP TURNOUT
EVERY SINGLE ONE
Pretty much every election cycle, whether it’s for governor, Senator, or President, polls consistently seem to inflate Texas support for Democrats by at least 5%, often closer to 10%. So a 2.6% lead by Talarico actually indicates a 2.4-7.4% lead by Paxton.
This past summer the polls were garbage. When were these polls taken? D/R/I amounts? Men vs women being polled?
Not confirmation bias, but this is so old. The Dems are always assured of victory for everything, everywhere, every election.
It’s boring at this point.
We shall see, but I don’t see any chance in hell that the democrats win TX, MI, OH or ME.
NC they will almost certainly win.
AK is probably the only place I believe they could see a state break from its historic norms, and thats because 1/3 of Alaska is on some sort of assistance. Policy changes in this area by the GOP could result in a protest vote that winds up flipping it. Not saying it will, just saying its a place where I can see it happening.
However, I don’t see any math where they are winning back the Senate. Whole lot of garbage.
Gas prices definitely give the dems some support, but I don’t see that being enough to drastically shift the senate.
The war with Iran has a good deal to do with this.
Not the only factor yet it’s a large one.
I warned everyone about Paxton, but for some unknown reason many conservatives hated Cornyn. Now we may lose Texas
I have lost any faith I had in the American public. I think the communists will win, and likely win again in 2028. Then I’ll get to listen to my idiot neighbors moan about how communism isn’t working like it should, and how did this happen.
The democrats will own the House and Senate the voters never realizes when they have it so good
I don’t know why so many people buy into the notion that averaging a bunch of polls, then claiming the result is indicative of anything. The average is always going to be pulled up or down depending on the individual items included in the count.
Sununu (King of the RINOs) has a chance in NH.
Contribute if you feel like it.
If republicans cannot remember what happened to this country during the Obammy and Biden years and vote for Communists, then they need to turn in their voting cards and shut the hell up when this country goes into the proverbial toilet of $*#t!!!.
I should have said, “Sununu has a chance in NH IF the Iran war is over”.
Trump hated Cornyn and pushed Paxton. So, . . . . . . ?
Or GOP apathy
And then there are those of us that don’t answer the phone when pollsters call. I don’t answer any call that isn’t identified by caller-id. When I look up the number, it’s mostly political calls. I block the numbers.
Paxton has a lot of baggage. Not the least of which is adultery which I consider to be abhorrent…and so does God.
That said, Talarico is an absolute nutcase.
Trump's track record in picking GOP candidates who cannot win statewide races is impressive. He probably reads FR too much.
FACT: Trump is President because of the votes of Democrats in three states who voted for him. 95% of those Trump Democrats would put a bullet in their heads before they would vote to put Dr. Oz, Herschel Walker, John James (or, I imagine Ken Paxton) in the Senate.
Notice no mention of MI.
