We All Shook the Hell Out of This Thing
There are certain toys that instantly transport me back to being a kid, and the Etch A Sketch is way up there.
That chunky red frame, the two white knobs, and that little gray screen where I’d spend ten minutes creating something vaguely squarish, then make one catastrophic wrong turn, and immediately shake the entire thing into oblivion.
Annoying, sure. But it still felt like magic.

My company sold the film on the Etch-a-Sketch. Imported from Germany and cost a lot.
