A George Soros-backed outfit intentionally designed to be mistaken for a local newspaper just mailed Michigan voters a headline calling Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed (D-MI) a veteran.
He's as much a veteran as he is a doctor. Well, more on that last part in a minute.
The "Michigan Independent" sent out unsolicited mailers to voters celebrating El-Sayed's primary win and, according to the Washington Free Beacon, completely whiffed on the headline.
"El-Sayed — veteran, doctor, and former health official — is Democratic Senate pick," the header declares.
Missed it by that much.

Jihad doesn’t count?
Exactly. Veteran in whose wars?
“A lie can travel halfway around the world while the truth is putting on its shoes.”
Well, it didn’t say whose army................
At least not a veteran on the American side...
Democrats are unbelievbly gullible and profoundly easy to deceive.
A veteran of the political wing of jihad.
You can bet your sweet Bippy that El-Kabong and his butt boy, the Tidepod Piker ARE NOT VETERANS. Geez. Soros is a moron. The boy makes Biden look like a genius.
And the difference between that and a Maddow or Dana Bash or George Stephanopolos saying the same on television is....?
How does someone finish medical school but not finish the residencies to become a licensed doctor?
So, his like a Jill doctor then.
“How does someone finish medical school..”
DID he finish medical school? I heard he partially finished.
But who knows what’s true?
Probably failed his state boards more than once and then gave up.
“El-Sayed — veteran, doctor, and former health official — is Democratic Senate pick,” read a Michigan Independent. El-Sayed has never served in the military, nor is he licensed to practice medicine.
American Independent Foundation President Joe Conason told the Washington Free Beacon that the error was the result of a misplaced comma.
“The error occurred when a new headline was written for the print edition,” he said. “It was supposed to say that he was a ‘veteran doctor and public health official,’ ie, ‘veteran’ modifying those two terms.”
A Veteran fighting in Uganda against the USA?
“A lie can travel halfway around the world while the truth is putting on its shoes.”
A quote that is a bit dated. It was said before “X” and other social media came into being. Thanks to X, the lie is exposed before it can get across the lips. And everyone reads X. It has ten times the reach of any traditional media.
Aw, come-on.
They are probably either:
a. Confusing him with Major Nidal Hasan (the infamous Ft Hood shooter) or
b. El-Sayed secreted fought against US forces somewhere, and this is the first step in outting him.
“Au Contraire Pierre ... he’s a veteran of Satan’s Army
No, he’s still on active duty in that army.
