The Odyssey is the best movie I’ve seen in decades.

So much for people complaining about the blacks cast as Greeks.

I saw it, wouldn’t say that but it was enjoyable, in spite of the distracting stunt casting. It wasn’t a girl power movie, it wasn’t full of woke stuff other than the cast looking like one of those old united colors of benneton ads. It wasn’t a masterpiece but it was entertaining.

Why would Sorbo, of all people, say it was so great…if it’s so “color coordinated” and bad?!

Interesting. Your review might cause me to think about seeing it, (MIGHT).

Were there HORSES in the movie?
I like movies with horses in it.

Here's the thing - time is a limited commodity, and there's an opportunity cost in addition to the financial cost whenever you decide to go see a movie in the theater. It may be a good movie, but it isn't worth my time to find out given the casting.
To put it differently, the director would not have made those casting choices unless he was affirmatively attempting to make a statement of some kind. And I'm not going to spend my time and money being annoyed by somebody else's social/political statements gratuitously thrown into a movie. Even if it is otherwise a good movie, I'd just feel like a chump.

I heard The Odyessey wasn’t that good. Bad storytelling.

Why would Sorbo, of all people, say it was so great… Perhaps hoping he could earn some goodwill and pick an acting role somewhere?

I have not seen the movie, and I am doubtful about it. However, I might suggest the possibility that by going woke on the casting, he has given himself a lot more leeway of the content, which is far more important.
