Barry is a man with a mission and no mojo to back it up.
Barack Obama has been treated like the untouchable kingmaker of the Democrat Party. The media built him into a political rock star. Dems acted like an endorsement from Mr. Barry Obama could move mountains, calm seas, and shape elections.
However, none of that ever happened, even though the media likes to pretend it did.
On one side, you’ve got President Trump, who is tightening his grip on the Republican Party in ways many never expected. He’s steamrolling anti-Trump Republicans all over the country, while Obama’s political influence is moving in the opposite direction. Trump-backed candidates just had another massive primary night, with establishment Republicans and anti-MAGA politicians getting wiped out in race after race.
Trump isn’t just leading the GOP… he’s reshaping it.
Obama never really achieved that level of control over Democrats, even while he was sitting in the Oval Office. Unless, of course, you count the way his presidency helped open the door for the party’s radical fringe to move from the sidelines into the driver’s seat, which some would argue has been a total disaster… but that’s another story.
But these days, his political endorsements are starting to look like the kiss of political death.
The latest example came last night out of Georgia, where two very high-profile judicial candidates backed by Obama and Kamala Harris just lost badly in races Dems desperately needed to win.
The Georgia Supreme Court races were so important to Democrats because they were key parts of future battles in the Peach State.
Democracy Docket:
Former state Sen. Jen Jordan and attorney Miracle Rankin have lost their election bids to add two Democratic voices to the eight-member Georgia Supreme Court bench.
The race had serious implications for the future of voting rights in Georgia, particularly after Gov. Brian Kemp (R) called for a special redistricting session to potentially reduce the number of majority-Black congressional districts in the state — a case that almost certainly could end up before the high court.
However, conservatives assailed Jordan and Rankin’s high-profile campaigns, which garnered endorsements from former President Barack Obama and former Vice President Kamala Harris.
Just two days before the election, a Republican-controlled state judicial watchdog panel reprimanded the two women for taking stances on reproductive rights and endorsing each other’s campaigns.
In a recent interview with the Georgia Recorder, Jordan had said that “voters concerned with protecting the right to privacy and the right to vote must pay close attention to this high-stakes election.”
State constitution experts weighed in that, if elected, they would likely have had to recuse themselves from cases involving abortion, a matter that is currently pending before the court.
Jordan and Rankin were running against two Republican-appointed incumbents — the justices are supposed to be nonpartisan — who were both endorsed by Kemp.
Obama threw his weight behind these candidates because Democrats knew they needed big help and influence in future election fights and redistricting battles. But Obama’s “weight” couldn’t get the job done.
And those losses are even more embarrassing because of how Dems and the media still like to act as if Obama is some magical powerful political figure who can rally voters whenever he saunters onto the scene.
You can spin it however you like, but as Mike Davis puts it, Obama went 0-2 in two very big GA races that his party needed to win.
The difference here is that Trump endorsements move Republican primaries. Candidates openly reshape their campaigns around securing his backing because GOP voters will back Trump.
Obama’s endorsements don’t carry that same force. Not even close.
And speaking of epic losses… Georgia wasn’t the most recent warning sign.
Obama also inserted himself into that failed redistricting fight in Virginia. That effort collapsed like a house of cards as well.
The Blaze:
Former President Barack Obama joined other liberals earlier this year in championing an unlawful power-grab in Virginia that would have delivered to Democrats 10 of the state’s 11 congressional districts, and now they have a new plan cooked up in Georgia.
To Democrats’ chagrin, the Virginia Supreme Court ruled on May 8 that the costly gerrymandering scheme there was illegal, thereby preserving the 2021-era congressional maps in which Democrats and Republicans enjoyed a 6-5 split.
On the eve of power-mad liberals’ humiliating defeat in Virginia, Obama turned his gaze southward to another opportunity for a potential increase in Democrat power.
“State supreme court justices play a critical role in defending your rights and freedoms, which is why the election happening in Georgia right now is so important,” wrote Obama. “Make sure you have a plan to vote for Jen Jordan and Miracle Rankin, the only two candidates in the race with strong records of standing up for all Georgians.”
Obama and other Democrats, unhumbled by their blunder in Virginia, appear keen to ideologically flip the Georgia court over the next two years.
Barry is racking up losses like a madman.
And at some point, Dems may need to come to terms with the fact that Barack Obama’s political mojo is dead.
Yes, he can still raise money. But fundraising and glowing press coverage aren’t the same thing as voter enthusiasm or real-life electoral power.
The numbers show just how much Obama’s political coalition has collapsed, especially with working-class voters and younger Americans Dems once assumed would stay loyal to them forever.
The Hill:
After four years of Trump and four years of Obama’s former vice president (and an administration stuffed with Obama alums and acolytes), the electorate looks even worse. Many, many Obama voters abandoned Democrats. The 2024 exit polls showed Trump rising to 45 percent with union households, 5 points over Romney. Trump won 51 percent with households earning less than $100,000 (up 8 points); and 62 percent with those earning a high school education or less (up 16 points).
And what about the “youth vote,” with whom Obama thought he has a special connection? Well, those 18-29s in 2012 are now 30-44. That age cohort went from Obama at plus-13 points in 2012 to Kamala Harris at a mere plus-4 points. In other words, Trump jumped by 9 to 10 points with Obama’s “special friends.”
The title of that 2025 piece really says it all:

Trump has managed to do something Obama never pulled off: transform the identity of his party from the inside out while still maintaining a deeply personal connection with his base, even when he left office.
And after this latest rough night in Georgia, that ol’ “Obama magic” Dems and the media treated like some unstoppable force is more like a faded, dusty, embarrassing memory.
“ The race had serious implications for the future of voting rights in Georgia, particularly after Gov. Brian Kemp (R) called for a special redistricting session to potentially reduce the number of majority-Black congressional districts in the state”
BS. Defining voting districts to favor a race is illegal. It is called Gerrymandering.
Mojo? Sounds racist.
Obama never had any control over or in the Democrat party. He is a puppet for someone else or a committee of someone elses, a cabal. He is a name and a face and a voice. Whatever internal ambitions he has is subsumed by the fact that he is an employee.
Still playing the abortion card? That dog don't hunt.

Mojo? Not aware of that in “their” persona.....🤔😂👍
Good. I love it when lefty heads explode.
People are sick of everything the twisted Democrats stand for - men in women’s sports, women forced to share bathrooms with men - and being called racist, homophobic, transphobic and bigoted if we object.
Obama pushed for nation-wrecking, divisive policies - and more.
People have finally woken up to what a leftist commie the criminally corrupt Kenyan really is.
“The media built him into a political rock star.”
You cannot hate the MSM enough. Ever.
Agree!
Well, I bet he can sing better than Springsteen.
Bad day for Hussein, but it was one bad day.
Just as Trump has won about 95% of his primary endorsements so far this cycle, 0bama has a similar percentage in Dhimmicrap primaries. I wish he didn’t. But don’t overinterpret one bad day for him.
Yes, "mojo" is a creation of African American culture, originating in the spiritual and folk practices of enslaved and free Black communities in the southern United States.
Etymology and Origins: The term likely derives from West African languages, such as the Gullah word moco (meaning witchcraft or magic) or the Fula word moco’o (meaning medicine man or shaman).
Historical Context: It emerged within Hoodoo, a folk magic tradition developed by Black Americans. Originally, a "mojo" referred to a physical charm or amulet, often a cloth bag containing herbs, animal parts, and other symbolic items intended for protection, luck, or love.
Cultural Spread:/ The word entered mainstream American English in the 1920s through Black English and jazz/blues music, evolving from its specific spiritual meaning to a general term for personal power, charisma, or luck.
As El Rush-Bo often pointed out, Hussein was a disaster for the country, and for democRAT / DemoKKKrat Party.
Between 2010 and 2016,the RATS lost almost 1,500 Federal and State elections.
Like most democRATs, Hussein’s pronouns are ME, MYSELF, and I.
Obama was and is a figurehead created for political purposes. He has never been anything other than an illusion, and he is not a leader.
The difference between the two is the difference between TRUTH and falsity, between a great leader who follows TRUTH and a figurehead of no substance.
Why is the Kenyan Mulatto still breathing?
