The African-American elected official took a stand for “The Criminal Illegal Alien Enforcement Act” which enabled federal immigration law enforcement to arrest over 1,100 illegal alien criminals including MS-13 gang members, drug offenders and the killer of Amber Paris: a 15-year-old girl.
After her vote, Rep. Cunningham, who is black, was accused of racism, and of being a secret Republican, despite her longtime history as a Democrat elected official. Radical leftists showed up to hound her at a town hall meeting and accused her of wanting to deport all immigrants.

Nasif Majeed appeared in the woke crosshairs when he voted for the ‘Prevent Sexual Exploitation of Women and Minors’ bill, which woke Dems claimed was ‘transphobic’ because it allowed parents to opt their children out of explicit LGBTQ lessons in schools and mandated that students on overnight field trips should be housed with members of their own sex to avoid assaults.

Rep. Shelly Willingham, a black Democrat who had taken a stand for women’s sports, by voting for a bill that defended women from having to compete against men in dresses, was also ousted. No word on whether he intends to remain in the party that purged him.

With all the redistricting and the ruling of the Supreme Court on the Voting Rights Act, I think what will happen is more conservative blacks will run and get elected to Congress.
For example, the Memphis District in Tennessee that Steve Cohan has held for years is now likely to be defeated, the new favorite to win that seat is a Black Republican Woman.
Instead of the lunatic black women and women that get elected to congress as Democrats, now conservative black men and women have a leg up on getting elected.

Cunningham is one of the few Democrats in North Carolina that will occasionally vote the right way on an issue.
These 3 Democrats — who all lost their primaries to racist leftists in March — did occasionally vote a moderate line, but not too often; they’re no heroes.
But to liberals, someone who agrees with them only 95% of the time is a dangerous reactionary and must be purged from the Politburo.
I’d admire the “courage” of Cunningham and Majeed a lot more if they left the plantation BEFORE they were booted out of office by their racist voters. AFAIK Willingham still remains on the Democrat plantation while the other 2 have gone Indy.

Steve Cohen is white and Jewish.
Just listen to a song by one of the rappers. Nothing woke about that.
The Democrats are all about being woke.
I would say, regardless of race, most Americans are repulsed by these attributes of the Dem party. In the run up to the mid-terms, Republicans need to incessantly remind the public of this. And not get side-tracked by Epstein files, the Iran war, UFOs, inflation, redistricting, climate change, et al.
