A Democrat scheme to take over Virginia's congressional seats, setting up Democrat majorities in 10 out of the state's 11 districts, has failed.
The ruling comes from the state Supreme Court which invalidated a voter-approved redistricting plan because lawmakers failed to follow the constitutional process that is required to put the measure on a ballot.
Democrats, under the leadership of an extreme left Gov. Abigail Spanberger, had rushed through a vote on their plan to put Democrats in the majority in 10 of the state's 11 districts. The division right now is 6-5 with the Democrats in the majority.

This was the affirmation of a lower district court ruling that there were numerous unconstitutional errors in this corruptly passed Democrat initiative.

Abi-gal is a fraud and this violation of VA Constitution was obvious to any person that can read and comprehend English.
Thank God that the VA Supreme Court followed the law.
This ruling may save the Congress for the mid-terms, but long term, the redistricting across the USA is going to crush the demonRATs...Thank God.
Redistricting is such a strange topic to me. Both sides seem to have a “it’s only right when we do it” attitude.
With all the "fair housing" mandates of the past several decades, I think the redistricting issues are kind of moot. After all, we don't legally have "black areas of town" anymore with Section 8 housing being push into every nook and cranny of society. No black person is restricted on where they want to live other than by prices.
We have no "black ghettos" by design.

Fairfax County was divided into 5 Congressional districts in that vote. Republicans don’t do weird stuff like that.

I hope you're right, but never underestimate the ability and motivation for Democrats to cheat, openly if needed. Since nothing has happened to them for past fraud, they have nothing to lose.
I expect "you-haven't-seen-nothing-yet" levels of cheating in the coming election. We HAVE to stay vigilant. Passing the SAVE Act would have helped tremendously.

My guess is to wait until the next election then put it in front of the voters again AFTER that election and pass it....that is how you implement a constitutional amendment in VA...(must be voted for twice over two separate elections)
Then it would be legal.
