According to the report, air defense activity, including sounds of explosions and anti-aircraft fire, was heard in several districts of the city. Iranian media described the response as intercepting incoming threats.
Iran’s state-run Mehr News Agency reported Thursday evening that Iranian air defense systems were actively engaging what it described as “hostile targets” in parts of the capital, Tehran.
What We Know So Far
Mehr News and other semi-official outlets (including Nour News) confirmed the activation of air defenses.
Eyewitness videos circulating on social media show flashes in the night sky, plumes of smoke, and what appears to be ground-based anti-aircraft fire over Tehran and nearby areas such as Karaj.
Some reports mentioned possible low-altitude drone activity or sustained air defense engagements in southern and eastern parts of the capital.
Belaaz reported: IDF source says Israel is not attacking in Iran.
The situation is developing rapidly. Iranian authorities have not yet declared a high-alert status or reported any ground impacts in the capital.

If successful it would show that ceasefires are wrong and always have been, except for the guilty. China’s satellite and maybe some anti-aircraft should launchers could make the ceasefire days really valuable for Iran. These incidents are probably nothing important but we don’t know if some bad ones are on the way if the ceasefire extensions give them time.
Ex military panelist on Fox News as the ceasefire began: “Iran’s objective was to maneuver the US into a ceasefire. They just got their ceasefire.”

Concur. That was my job.
We also blew up IEDs with radio remotes, which made for funny as hell videos. They changed to wire pretty quick. We’d literally wait for them to go by and blow them up with their own bomb.
The funniest is the one that didn’t go off, so they were kind enough to fix it for us and so we killed them the second go around.
I think their air defenses are now a couple of MA deuces and some 88 flak cannons.
I would be shooting at everything in the sky if I had to man one of those things. A lucky shot is the ONLY shot going for you.
During the ceasefire the commanders finally picked up their phones and started finding out what was left, where it was and what to do next. The NSA is listening in. The leadership has gone to find out how many missiles and launchers they have left. Satellites, ground observers and drones have been watching. Meanwhile all those Lauch tubes on destroyers have been reloading. Planes are being repaired and maintenance is being done. All told, the ceasefire has benefited the US.

The video at link had what looked to be flak going off, so I wouldn’t be surprised if you are correct.
I do think they have a fair amount of MANPADS, which doesn’t do much against the high flyers.
Next go around we take out the railways and the bridges.
Right now they can get some supplies through overland routes. An hour after the ceasefire ends, those routes are closed.
It’s kind of hard to fight an ongoing battle when you cannot move from point A to Point B.
This is going to be the 21 Century version of a medieval siege.
When does the ceasefire end? The President has put it off indefinitely.

You make an excellent point. Lack of mobility destroys Iran’s numerical superiority, simply because they can’t move the mass where it is needed, nor retreat.
It can be dismantled piece-by-piece.
