Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) accused US media of engaging in “selective coverage” that has downplayed the successes of Operation Epic Fury — and instead benefited Iran during the first 30 days of the war.
“I read the entire political spectrum on Epic Fury. Iran now loves and learns from the media,” Fetterman told The Post Tuesday.
“The media’s selective coverage rewards and reinforces Iran’s strategy,” he said. “Media amplifies the 1% chaos Iran creates, while ignoring the 99% of Iran’s beatdown.”
Much of that coverage has been focused on the Strait of Hormuz, a critical chokepoint through which around one-fifth of the world’s seaborne oil passes — and which Tehran closed down after the US and Israel started military strikes against the regime on Feb. 28.
That’s caused global energy prices to surge, with oil increasing to $100 per barrel by mid-March.

Yeah, the Fake News Media does have some ‘splainin’ to do. Is Trump a King or is he a puppet? Trump is Hitler so why is Hitler linking arms with Jews? Or as Hillary Gollum Clinton calls them, those effing Jews. If Trump is colluding with Russia, why isn’t Russia helping Trump with Operation Epic Fury? Among other things.
The media is part of Iran’s war strategy. 5th column. Just like they were before Pearl Harbor.
What else would we expect from our trad-media? They hate Trump so much that they can’t possibly try to be unbiased. If that means the USA goes down in flames, all the better, to them.
FETTERMAN IS SPOT ON, IMO
It seems past time to understand and focus on the fact that the MSM, owned by the Left which also now owns the Dem party, doesn't just merely hate Trump, it hates America.
As Eli Copter states above: "The media is part of Iran’s war strategy" - just as it was significantly a sizeable part of the West's war in Viet Nam.
The hatred goes way beyond Trump and will play a major role in the future of our nation - it will require courageous Americans to determine how the price of a free press is be paid.
Exactly right, and why we consumers of news need to use alternate sources. Trad-media just doesn’t cut it. They hate America, and everything she stands for. We shouldn’t enrich them with our eyeballs.
