Your prayers have helped me and my family get through some awful days before so I am once again turning to my Freeper Friends for prayers for my niece Amy’s son Jack.
Because of the grace your prayers have brought down on my family before Amy has asked me especially to ask Freepers for help.
Jack has something called autonomic dysfunction.
Here’s what that means:
Autonomic dysfunction refers to a condition where the autonomic nervous system does not work properly, affecting involuntary body functions like heart rate, blood pressure, digestion, and temperature regulation.
Symptoms can include dizziness, fainting, and gastrointestinal issues, and it may result from various underlying health conditions.
The symptoms of autonomic dysfunction can vary widely among individuals. Common symptoms include:
•Dizziness or lightheadedness, especially when standing (orthostatic hypotension)
•Rapid or slow heart rate (tachycardia or bradycardia)
•Gastrointestinal issues like constipation or diarrhea
•Temperature regulation problems
•Excessive or reduced sweating
•Fatigue and weakness

Sweet Lord Jesus, please be with Jack and heal him completely. Lord, I can’t imagine the pain this is inflicting on all involved, and I can only ask in this season of amazing grace, that You, the salvific source of our redemption and eternal life, touch Jack and restore him to Your glory. In Jesus name, amen.
I will continue to pray for precious Jack and know that this is heartbreaking to those of us reading this as well. You are not alone.

That is one awful disease as it has such wide affects on the nervous system controlling the entire body. I pray for a miraculous cure for Jack.
Will certainly pray for your nephew Jack and all his family and loved ones.

Update on the Treatment of Autonomic Disorders
I hope your son recovers and that you and your family enjoy a long time with him.
This happened to me at 50 from a toxic chemical exposure. I
don’t even work with the stuff! Wrong place, wrong time. The result is autonomic and peripheral neuropathy.
It’s never going to get better. When nerves die they don’t come back.
I’ve had it for 12 years now. Sometimes you just got to deal with life’s unfairness. Watch for mood issues and anhedonia. As for the rest, he might develop a form of narcolepsy and perversely, times when he can’t sleep because his nerves are humming like a powerline.
Try to medicate as little as possible beyond what’s critical, (That’s the doctor and his call on how he’s feeling.)
The two things I credit as the greatest aids are a service dog and a C-PAP machine. The positive pressure overcomes the times your body forgets to breathe at night.
Long story short, it sucks but it can be managed long term without serious risk.

He is young and strong, so the treatments may do wonders and continued research may do the same. Bless him!
