Breaking update: President Trump announced he has instructed the Department of Homeland Security to pay the TSA Agents.
Trump said he will sign an order instructing DHS Chief Markwayne Mullin to pay TSA agents.
“The Radical Left Democrats, and their “Leader,” Cryin’ Chuck Schumer, have made it very clear where they stand, and that is, ON THE SIDE OF CRIMINAL ILLEGAL ALIENS, AND NOT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. They are refusing to fund Immigration Enforcement unless the Republicans agree to their Open Border Policies, which will never, ever happen again. They almost destroyed our Country, allowing 25 Million People to enter from Prisons, Mental Institutions, and Insane Asylums, those that are Drug Dealers, and thousands of Murderers, many of whom killed more than one person. Because the Democrats have recklessly created a true National Crisis, I am using my authorities under the Law to protect our Great Country, as I always will do! Therefore, I am going to sign an Order instructing the Secretary of Homeland Security, Markwayne Mullin, to immediately pay our TSA Agents in order to address this Emergency Situation, and to quickly stop the Democrat Chaos at the Airports. It is not an easy thing to do, but I am going to do it! I want to thank our hardworking TSA Agents and also, ICE, for the incredible help they have given us at the Airports. I will not allow the Radical Left Democrats to hold our Country hostage any longer. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” Trump said on Thursday afternoon.

Would love to see it, but I don’t see how this happens. Funds are appropriated for a specific purpose and it is illegal to use them for any other purpose. Hope he can make it stick but I’m not holding my breath.
Just let some little Democrat Judge step up and say Trump can’t do this. That will be a really nice look, on top of what Schumer is already doing.

Lawfare won’t work politically for the Dems. Not good optics to appeal to one of their judges to enjoin Trump from paying the TSA agents to end the 4 hour TSA lines for travelers.
Are the Dems really going to go to court to block it?

The Senate has been in session for more than five hours today and nothing has happened except the Sen Pres ProTem twiddling his fingers for the entire time.
Someone reported that Thune has adjourned the Senate for two weeks so they can all have a nice Easter vacation while US citizens are forced to stand in lines at the airports because the Senate will not pay TSA.
