It's hard to imagine greater courage than taking to the streets to protest against a heavily armed repressive regime that is willing to kill you in cold blood. For the more than 35,000 - and up to 80,000 Iranians who paid with their lives for showing this courage in January, the hope now is that they did not die in vain. Yet as the war the war enters its third week, the dreams of so many Iranians that their odious regime will collapse are hanging in the balance. The joint US-Israeli attacks have done much to weaken the regime militarily, but they have so far failed to topple it or even cripple its grip on power.
It was 40,000 the other day this is getting like Ukraine propaganda.
Everyone knows where the IRGC and Basij live.
Are you Persians willing to burn them out, chase them down the street and beat them to death with sticks?
Many of you will die, on your feet, as men.
Or do you prefer to die on your knees, as slaves?
They need to take matters into their own hands, and follow the Romanians.
There might be more than 80k fatalities. It’s a totalitarian regime.
This makes Tucker Carlson smile.
The more info gets out, the more it is revealed. It was first only 12k.
They had a trial.
when you have the ability to take out an evil fanatical regime that is that close to having ICBMs and the nuclear materials to weaponize them it’s a no brainer you do it no matter what the cost.. that’s why we have a military in the first place.. finish it.
The weirdest thing I have seen is people wanting to leave Iran alone, and we strike back after they hit us first.
I agree 100%. Pay now, or pay a whole lot more later. If we don’t stop these fanatics now, our children and potentially multiple generations will pay the price. It has to stop.
I may have narrated the film where my college dorm buddies passed a bong around but I never toked from any bong including this one.
This is why Americans should NEVER, EVER give up their guns.
We hope they rise up. Poor unarmed people though.
My thoughts exactly. I’m surrounded by people from Ukraine, who are mostly pretty good neighbors, but beginning to feel like a stranger in a strange land.
When does it end??
And God grant me the serenity...
“Come and take it
Slogan used by armies during last stands
“Come and take it” is a long-standing expression of defiance first recorded in the ancient Greek form molon labe “come and take [them]”, a laconic reply supposedly given by the Spartan King Leonidas I in response to the Persian King Xerxes I’s demand for the Spartans to surrender their weapons on the eve of the Battle of Thermopylae in 480 BC. It was later used in 1778 at Fort Morris during the American Revolution, and also in 1835 at the Battle of Gonzales during the Texas Revolution”
This only works when you have a way to defend yourself and a will to do it. I think those people have the will, just nothing to defend it with. Our 2nd amendment give us the right to exercise our 1st amendment. Wish the Persians had the same.
We’re expected to believe they killed “more than 35,000 - and up to 80,000 Iranians” in three days? And no one stops to think about what such a slaughter would entail?
The number of protesters killed by the old Shah’s goons was multipled by 10 by propagandists on the other side to fuel the revolution that gave us the Mullahs. Turnabout is fair play?
Are the IRGC bad guys? Of course they are. Did they kill unarmed protesters and (sometimes armed) rioters? Yes. 35,000 to 80,000 in three days? Uh, no. 3,000? Probably. Up to 5,000? Possibly. This is horrific enough. But they inflate it to prosperous numbers.
