The thing about a poisoness snake? Once the head is removed the rest dies and decays. You can’t almost remove the head, it needs severed completely. IMO.

CNN in its present iteration is a bunch of children. Cannot take anything they report or opine on as worthwhile. Why people quote them is a joke in itself.
I bet there are lots of jihadist planners saying, what do we do next? Maybe we should cooperate cause if not, the whole schtick we are doing is going to be obliterated, and the Persians will take revenge and kill us all. I would guess that the Persian population has had it with the ayatollahs, and their bellicosity. My guess is that while u s. was building up strike force, lots of weapons were smuggled into Iran to arm the Persians ready to get rid of the current regime.
Hoping our abilities are so decisive that the ayatollahs can’t enact all these retaliations they have planned.
Trump is calling on them to lay down their arms or die.
Just maybe we have enough intelligence on the inside, that we believe some of the units will consider surrendering.
