The Land of Make Believe will eventually come to an end, and sobriety and rationality will be restored. Let’s pray the correction doesn’t come in the form of a hot war or a natural disaster.
In a recent viral video, an angry mob (composed almost entirely of white women) hurled expletives at the staff of a Minneapolis CorePower yoga studio, berating them because they reportedly removed anti-ICE signage. While their verbal onslaught apparently worked in this case, these females revealed just how many women live in a Land of Make Believe where everyone magically bends to their will.
This tiny glimpse into the world of make-believe perpetuated by Affluent, White, Female, Liberals (AWFL) has been a long time in coming; many are waking up to the saccharine dream where the AWFLs can do whatever they want, unscathed, while the rest of us must conform and then clean up their messes. For decades the West has built itself around the ideal life for these women, requiring very little by way of sacrifice, inconvenience, earnest effort, or real scrutiny. In today’s world, it is good to be a victim. It is a made-up world that most of us have grown used to believing is real.
To understand the origins of the Land of Make Believe, we have to go back to before Mr. Rogers’ neighborhood. Most of human history hasn’t had entire generations come and go without experiencing a hot war, aggressive overthrow, famine, economic downturn, or some other significant life-threatening event. Such realities, we are told, stymie culture instead of building it. Curiously, however, for all our contemporary comfort and plenty, cultural growth has not been what one might expect.

We are at a historical confluence
1) post-modern ideology and its particular off-shoots of feminist ideology
2) general American notions of freedom and individualism,
3) peak American empire power,
4) massive Government debt spending and fiat money printing.
So these AWFULs, are riding a never-before and historically-specific wave of American notions freedom, ideological motivation, wealth and entitlement. They are (briefly) sitting in the figurative “catbird seat.”

Whether The Renaissance or The Enlightenment, defending and killing was up-close and personal. Weapons technology changed that. Now a “warrior” can sit behind a desk pushing buttons to kill millions. There is ever less direct connection between fighting and death. Drones will transform ground combat. Things will be different.
The suburbs are full of them.
It typically isn't, but it should be.
I think these AWFLs benefit from a residual cultural reluctance to treat women as harshly as men are treated. If a man is blocking your way or being obnoxious or menacing, people are much more willing to shove him out of the way or punch him. Not so with women. And women who commit crimes get let off more easily. So the AWFLs are as rude and obnoxious and menacing as they want to be with less consequences.
Modern technology allows AWFULs to live in the delusion that they’re “strong and independent wymyn who don’t need a man”. Certain other demographic groups live in similar states of delusion.
Their holy grail, access to abortion disguised as women's health, has been compromised. They are angry losers refusing to admit their agenda lost it for them..
The disease that plagues us in the west is AFFLUENZA.
It’s symptoms are not appreciating how well you have it, where it came from and who made it possible.

....with flowers and bells and leprechauns and magic frogs with funny little hats.
