Yep, she is jerking Nick’s chain...Hmong refugees are completely legal due to their fighting on behalf of the USA/CIA in Laos/Vietnam (35,000-50,000 Hmong KIA). MN and FResno CA have large populations...the FResno area has lots of good Thai food places as a result.

My best lifetime buddy from childhood on (dec. 2019) was a Marine helicopter pilot during the Vietnam War. He flew Hmong soldiers to combat zones and had nothing but praise for them. That’s good enough for me.
Rush was right. She’s proof politics is show business for the ugly.
The mayor and her parents are Vietnam refugees and as a result perfectly legal and naturalized citizens. She was probably referring to how the process would be conducted and how any insinuation of illegality would be treated under the current administration.
For the most part, the SE Asians have assimilated in St. Paul. They started businesses, work hard, and don’t cause much trouble. Their kids can be somewhat of a problem, as could anyone’s kids, this day and age.
Deport this person.
If ICE does not nab her that puts the lie to DJT’s promises and Holman.
It is one thing to have naturalized assume office — a bad idea. But, to let a criminal take office.
It is a challenge. If Bondi does not respond she is nothing but DEI hire.
Deport him. Now.
That seems to be the pattern with the Hmong elsewhere. They usually keep their heads down and do their work. Some other recent immigrant groups, not so much.
