You appear to have a very discerning palate. I imagine you’ve had a wonderful food history.
Don’t tell those parasites, sell the house buy a motorhome and hit the road.
You did good. Welcome to America. ;-)
Boy, are you strict. ;-)
Is “rage clicking” similar to “doom scrolling”? Both are new terms to me.
Remember...you raised the son...You obviously did a sh** job.
dil? use language please.

Beat me to it. I don’t think i could eat a whole turkey even a small one and I’m 190 lb.
I would respond: Dear Susan, please write again in one year to give an update on your family. It doesn’t appear likely you can handle making your son and DIL leave. In the meantime, stop buying any food at all. And donate what you have on hand to a homeless shelter. You will be blessed.
Squaaaaab!
Dang! An entire turkey? Even if it’s a small one, that’s a lot of eatin’.
Precisely.
If everyone was like you this wouldn’t be an issue...
Daughter in Law
I blame the parents for not instilling values. While I was trying to move back to the USA, I received little help from my sister or dad, neither offered accommodations or help.
I had helped my dad and sister thousands in support previously, but when I needed support they were not there.
I luckily found 2 cousins that think like me, I live less than a mile from the one that took me in, and the other is the Godmother of my 12 year old. I am blessed and lucky.
There are other abbreviations I have to look up but just so you know, if you do, you might run across things you didn’t want to know - just PM me and I’ll explain.
You’re welcome.
Charlie ;-)
My step-son and his wife lived with me for about a year. Both were finishing school and would soon have high paying jobs. That was all okay with me and they did not contribute for expenses. They had enough expenses from university. I was good with this. They really wanted their own privacy and moved out shortly after graduation. They were not parasites. If they were I would have thrown them out.
I had much the same experience with my natural son and doing the exact same thing. He is extremely successful today as is my step-son. I chose wisely.
Curious, I have never prepared the Thanksgiving Turkey and then put it in the fridge, nor have I ever heard of anyone eating an entire turkey.
Seems like the story is made up or is overly exaggerated. That said, my elderly mom decided to downsize the turkey to just a breast that weighed about 5 pounds or so. There was still plenty of meat leftover for a dinner party of 5..
You are blessed - and you earned your ‘luck’...
