CNN: Only Conservatives Concerned About Violence Against Christians In Nigeria
NewsBusters ^ | Mark Finkelstein

The liberal media: covering for Muslim violence around the world!

When such violence occurs in the West, the liberal media is often reluctant to release the names and associated information about the perpetrators. How often have we heard "the motive for the attack is unknown," despite the knife-or-gun-wielding perp having yelled Allahu Akbar as he carried out his attack!?

That same liberal instinct extends to Muslim predations in other parts of the world. Thus, in response to President Trump's warning that he might order military action in Nigeria to counter the persecution and killing of Christians, CNN This Morning devoted a segment seeking to debunk the claim that Christians are being singled out for persecution there.

Host Audie Cornish brought in Kenya-based CNN correspondent Victoria Rubadiri, who claimed that allegations of a religious war in Nigeria are "certainly not the case."

Central to the effort Cornish and Rubadiri made to dismiss allegations about the persecution of Christians in Nigeria was that only conservatives are raising such concerns.

CNN didn’t mean it as a compliment. They meant that violence against Christians isn’t really a problem.

Liberals evidentially love to see muslims slaughtering Christians.

Sudan: The UAE’s shady role and Western nations’ ‘culpable indifference’

Allied with General Hemedti’s Rapid Support Forces, the UAE has provided crucial logistical support to the paramilitary fighters who conducted the deadly assault on el-Fasher.

Not true. Ask around the USA’s black Christian churches whether they want their black Christian brothers in Nigeria murdered.

RE: she said religious persecutions of Christians are certainly not the case....

Here are a few mostly peaceful beheadings /S,
for example:

In December 2019, ISWAP released a video showing its militants beheading 10 Christian men and shooting an 11th man on Christmas Day, stating the killings were in revenge for the deaths of their leaders Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and Abul-Hasan al-Muhajir in a U.S. raid in Syria.

In January 2020, a Church of the Brethren leader, Reverend Lawan Andimi, was beheaded by Boko Haram after refusing to renounce his Christian faith.

In October 2024, a video released by Boko Haram showed the beheading of four civilians in Borno State, at least one of whom was a Christian woman targeted because of her faith by her own relative, a Boko Haram fighter.

In September 2016, Boko Haram militants reportedly beheaded a village chief and his son before killing two other villagers and eight Christians leaving a church service.

These acts are part of a wider pattern of violence and persecution against Christians in northern and central Nigeria by various armed groups, including Boko Haram, ISWAP, and Fulani militants. While some violence is also driven by land disputes and other factors, the targeting of Christians for their faith is a documented aspect of the conflict.

Are the White Christian Nationalists in Nigeria as racist at the White Christian Nationalists in the US?

How about genocide in Sudan?

We’re the only ones with a clue about that, too.

Why isn’t there a big protest at Columbia or Harvard about that one?

And it is lost on them how that is a serious moral indictment on the media for not informing people this kind of evil is going on?

Good grief...

Probably.

Only conservatives get worried about innocent people being slaughtered.

Liberals get their panties in a twist over drug smugglers, murdering terrorists, slavers, and other scum of humanity getting a hang nail.

That is the difference between us.

And yes, I do mean for you to take it personally Victoria baby.

The main groups implicated in these attacks include Boko Haram and its offshoot, the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), both of which seek to eradicate Christianity from northern Nigeria and establish an Islamic caliphate.

In very simple terms, the extreme leftists hate Christians and Jews because these are bearers of moral ethical teachings.
