IMO, not necessarily - Islam will probably be more effective fighting the left than we are, they are not bound by our Constitution to be civil.
Here is a twist - Islam will only stop being useful to the left when the left has prevailed over our republic.
In any event, both the left and Islam present a threat and deserve our equal attention.
Fortunately, we are skilled at fighting multi-front wars.

Years ago when my son was in OCS the instructors told them to delete any social media that would lead terrorist to their homes. My son raised is hand and asked if he could be exempted. I had the pleasure of sitting next to Dr. Bill Warner, author of Political Islam, on a flight years ago, He was sounding the alarm about Islam being much more than a “religion of peace” years before it came to the awareness of most.

I completely disagree. Islam has been around 1400 years, and it could never come close to destroying the West or Christianity. The left has been around 150 years, and it has already destroyed them.
Christianity and Europe defeated/pushed back Islam in 1571, and since then, it might cause some trouble, but it's never come close again. The left is thousands of times more dangerous.
Look at Iran: They are one of the most intensely Muslim countries, and they are awash in perversion, promiscuity, prostitution, homosexuality, etc.
And the left uses Islam to distract it's enemies. And some even help the left against Islam, in hoped the alligator will eat them last. Don't fall for it.
Looks like the result of a long line of first cousin marriages.
